A little late, but Thursday was the 30th anniversary of the launch of one of Ireland's longest lasting Pirates, Freedom FM!

The four forefathers of the station met up at a secret location to eat, drink, celebrate and opine before their respective wife's collected them at 10:30PM for hot milk in their branded mugs (10:40 for Sean, he was struggling over his last half shandy and didn't want to waste his €4.30.), a far scream from the nights when they'd walk home from Club Sarah via Tony Mac's Mum's wardrobe.

Nowadays they still broadcast via web, app and the occasional FM run. Any memories from the anorak community of their runs on air?

I will attempt to partly answer my own question! I know that two of them were Sean Power and Paul Kavanagh. I would hazard a guess that the third was Ralph McGarry. I don't know who the fourth was.
