College football Dublin 2025 "Farmagedon" Kansas State v Iowa State

I think it needs it's own thread.

Tickets will likely go on sale in the next month.

Last year I got upper tier on the corner of East Stand a South Stand for €80, two years previous they were about €60 of I recall.

It probably won't sell out too quickly, they are not very high profile teams outside of the US, but within FBS college football this is one of the most enduring rivalries.

Plus the announcement of a NFL game (likely in September) may take the attention of people who just want to go to an American football game.

    Kansas State University

"…on sale to the Irish public on Monday, March 3."

Hopefully no issues picking up a couple of tickets, very keen to head along for the first time.

Yeesh those prices are steep! 150 Euro a pop for the higher stands for a side view, 100E for behind the goal.

I personally thought the tickets were reasonably priced in comparison to other events.

Seats I had last year for €60 are €100 this year , so went with Block 510 for €80 a pop instead. Still a great day out

I’ll be home from Australia for this so just happy to be able to get to one of the games. Went with Section 133 for (hopefully) some end zone action.

Got two upper deck behind the endzone, row F for €80 a piece. Pretty happy with that.

When or do these go on general sale? Curious to see if they release anymore tickets than whats available.

    Today at 10am

The two day presale is now over.

I bought tickets early last year but kept an eye on it throughout the spring and into summer.

The only tickets available were packages for €300+, then in about mid July a few more reasonably priced (€60 and €80 ) started to appear.

These are pricey? American prices really - are many expected to travel from US?

Picked up some upper corner tickets for €80 each, might offload if get Croke park tickets, got excited to see row A in upper west available on presale until I saw the price! (€150 to €225 I think roughly...)

I think I'll take a chance that this wont sell out and some cheaper ones become available

    Normally a great day out

Just looking at the Ticketmaster page and there is just a single solitary seat left in the lower section.

    131 P 10, €100

Everything else is gone, not released yet or never on general sale.

Lots of upper tier between €80 and €150 left.

It still seems to be getting advertised heavily online. My guess is there are tens of thousands of unsold tickets

The Ticketmaster page is showing 316 tickets available, from €80 to €325.

Now obviously that's only the tickets that are available for sale here now, that number could increase as more are released or unsold ones come back from the US.

The fact that it's two fairly unknown teams to the average Irish person plus the fact that there is an NFL game due later in the autumn may have an effect on ticket sales.

Bit early for a sperate thread, so I'll shove it here.

2026 is North Carolina (current hc Bill Belichick) at TCU.
Belichick's North Carolina set for Dublin showdown

We are splendidly lucky in this country to have a regular stream of FBS college football being played in our backyard.

They are giving away free €100 Uber vouchers with every ticket you buy to the Iowa State v Kansas State game.

    Still €85.95 tickets available

    Of cousre there's a catch 🤣

Promotion will provide 50 Euro off two trips (if either trip exceeds 50 Euro, payment will be taken from alternative payment method on Uber account).
Trips valid between August 23rd and August 24th inclusive.
Trips only valid in Dublin, Ireland.

And Uber are notorious to deal with if you mess up applying the promo or something goes wrong and they charge your card instead. You'll never get that money back as it's a "promo".

Just discount the tickets if you want to see a full stadium!!

Essentially they're giving free transport to anyone who buys a ticket? I think we're getting into "rent-a-crowd" territory. Any chance they'll be giving out free tickets on Grafton Street the morning of the game ala 2016?
