I don't think that's allowed here, you should google it. There was a list recently published of the highest earning criminal aid solicitors. Be mindful of the time peoords to lodge that appeal, if it has not been done already.

Might be worth clarifying what kind of conviction - traffic law or assault or public order - to get someone who specialises.

Any practicing criminal solicitor will be able to deal with it, there is no specialising within criminal law areas amoung practitioners

I wouldn’t necessarily agree. Some will have greater knowledge of particular areas, and may be better suited to certain cases.

As stated by Lenar, there are some who specialise in particular areas, so do your research. Most will be able to deal with general offences, but depending on the severity and nature of the offence, some will have prior experience of such matters. I would ask for their CV during your enquiry and specifically state the matter you wish to be represented in and prior experience to make an informed judgement

    Best of luck

Solicitors do not hand out cvs. The best thing to do is to go to the court where the circuit appeals are heard in the CCJ and watch what happens. You will soon get to know which solicitors are competent. While there you should also look in on the District Courts.
