The reality is that all Trump appointees to the CIA, FBI, DOD and other agencies have spoken in one form or another about increasing transparency and openness. It has never happened before. The strange new world doesn't mean you can't be stonewalled here by unelected people who have decided to keep everything under wraps However, if there was ever a time to change things, now is it. It's likely that some of the secrets of the country will be shared by the people Trump's trying to get in right now.

Elon Musk even talks about how people working important jobs inside the government on low wages have accumulated millions of dollars and wants to know how they did it. From all sides, this is true action against bad actors

Be naive and not mention that a war against the controllers and deep state elite has negative consequences since they've been able to get away with this for a long time. No one wants to give up everything without a fight. We don't know what action might be taken, maybe an economic fightback or something sinister?

Trump team seems all in now anyway, will be interesting to see if they can pull it off. A dangerous card to play nevertheless

There's no telling what kind of problems this new task force will run into investigating JFK 911 and UAP and trying to release everything. I'd say it's at least a start. There's also a NHI disclosure that people are trying to figure out. The NHi craft buzzing bases and showing off elsewhere like New Jersey is just the beginning. We're going to see it increase this year and it will be undeniable. It will be a series of revelations based on the crisis stuff that happens throughout the year. This FAA drone thing will look like a coverup by the end of the year.. either way by then people will see stuff that blows the UFO cover up wide open.

I am expecting the next stage fairly soon from NHi it be here summer or early spring. It should be loud and clear, not blurry. Waiting months for the world to change isn't too long.

In spite of some mistakes Trump makes in foreign policy and some good things he does here, the world will have turmoil and danger this year and some enlightenment as well. Certainly there will be economic and geopolitical upheavals to come.

Well if Musk says something on twitter, it must be true.

I wonder if the discovery of the new files is going to delay publication of the previously unreleased files. If so, then it just feels like more of the same. The task force may release some files but withhold others due to the usual 'national security' reasons. Hope I'm wrong but setting up more assessment committees with no specific release deadlines sounds like more bureaucracy. There should be no reason to not immediately release all the remaining files in the archives but I bet they'll come up with some reason to hold some back yet again due to the new information.

And Luna seems to have gone on a ego solo run giving her opinion on 2 shooters. Surely she should have held off until the new information has been assessed rather than pre-empting it.

A lot of conspiracy theorists are going to be very disappointed.

Either way they should just release everything and put it all to bed.

This just smacks of throwing a bone to his sycophants, I'm sure RFK had some input into this. After six months is up, the mahogany one will just move on. I for one don't expect too much digging into Epstein.

Musk is self-serving, but it is obvious to anyone watching and not clueless that the reason gone after USAID is that a national security apparatus that many in conspiracy knew existed for years has a policy to destroy media sites that oppose the goals of the state department

The United States Agency for International Development is the same organization that has been censoring 9/11 content and conspiracy theories for decades. As a result of all the leaks that have been released, it has now been established that the conspiracy version of how the world operates is true. Never thought I'd see all this stuff in my lifetime coming out how rotten all is from the inside. It would be helpful if DOGE were to take all down, regardless of whether it would serve the political interests of Trump Musk or others. This will be upsetting to those who are on the side of Trump haters, who support Ukraine and who believe all the official media nonsense. In the end, some people won't see the corruption of USAID because it's coming out that conspiracy theorists have always been right all along: this lab in Wuhan was funded by USAID, and the same people who funded it tried to hide it and downplay it with the media. There should be jail time for these people.

There's no doubt that Trump's butthurt over the Democrats using USAID and the justice system against him. At the end of the day, USAID has tried to kill debate on conspiracy theories in mainstream settings for years, so I don't care what happens to it.

Will the real truth about the cover-ups come out. All I'm saying is people have more opportunity than they've ever had in decades to blow the whistle. As revenue streams dry up, people get fired, and things don't look good, people in cover settings may come forward. In fact, it's pretty much like every agency is now going to have a leader that doesn't follow the rules, like the head of RFK's health department, Gabbard, who oversees everything related to intelligence. It looks like Patel will lead the FBI, Radcliffe will be CIA, and Rubio is big on ufos too. You won't ever see a leadership team like this again who opens up about stuff.

There's been a lot of good news since January. Sure, they'll be challenged by deep state operatives, but hold strong and people will follow. People like the way things are, so Trump's policies disturb them, and the war for change has just begun. As a result of Trump's anti-globalization policy and desire to improve American conditions, he is likely to be feared by Europe.

Have globalization or USAID made America richer? There's 36 trillion in debt. A debt of 36 trillion dollars suggests that something has gone awry in the way the western hemisphere has dealt with events. Whenever that bubble burst, the whole financial system in the west goes down overnight.

There's another topic..conspiracy events often have a financial component. I'm sure someone benefited from them all.

It hasn't been established that the conspiracy version of how the world operates has any truth to it. Eg you're painting USAID as nefarious in spite of the fact that all the stories that they have broken in relation to it amount to misrepresentations by the current administration.

To pick out one of your conspiracies. Nothing has proven to be true in relation to Ukraine conspiracy theories. Most of the world agrees Russia was the aggressor.

In terms of has USAID made the US richer, not necessarily but that's not it's intended purpose. That's like complaining that Irish peacekeeping or international aid hasn't made us richer. It might not make us richer but it's improved our political reputation. To use an example, some of the things Musk has hit include sexual health clinics in African nations. But to be celebrated apparently.

But I can guarantee you, this administration will engage in lots of corruption as his previous admin did. They won't reveal any conspiracies though.

JFK started USAID to help people around the world - soft power. No conspiracies or schemes have come out of gutting it. It's just made the world a worse place for poor or at risk people. Grain is sitting in port rotting, medicines are sitting in warehouses rotting.

    "$34 trillion"

National debt is not like personal debt. The US currently has no issue servicing that debt. Most of which is owed to itself.

It is strange how some people will dismiss evidence based on the fact that they spend their whole lives mistrusting alternative news sources.

A lot of Americans find offensive the fact that the spending has gone unchecked and that the money that has been given out around the world never reaches them when natural disasters occur in their country.

In reality, USAID is a covert deep state agency created for the purpose of doing things that the deep state does not want the world to know.

As it turns out, USAID was funding judges, the legal system, and governments in hundreds of countries around the world. This was a revelation. To receive funding, USAID had to approve the employees hired and then adhere to a set of standards approved by the state department. These grants and funding bought a lot of this so-called free press media into not discussing anything they didn't agree to discuss.

There is a long story circulating about this topic. The USAID is involved in a great deal of Iran contra-related type activity and earthquake potential that threatens US national security for the next decade.

Due to the amount of information to be divulged on the topic, it take too long

To your post. A lot of Trump's ferocity was directed toward the USAID-owned media such as CNN, BBC, and others when the Russian collusion election controversy was in the news. The state department and deep state disliked Trump's vision for Ukraine and had a hostile relationship with him. He waited until he was able to dismantle the deep state that attempted to imprison him. The war that USAID was waging against Trump will now be felt by Ukraine.

In regards to the claim that the world views Russia as the aggressor, I think we need to be more specific, since most countries outside of Europe still do business with them. It is a contentious issue in America. The reality is that most people understand that nobody else would accept a foreign army on their border, yet people in some countries believe Russia should do it because it must. For decades, this deep state logic fuelled wars in the world. The views of the Russians here may seem foreign to you, but they are primarily concerned with security.

When USAID funded the Atlantic Council to quarantine these topics online, we were never going to be able to get openness around conspiracy topics

It is important to note that Trump, no matter what you say about him, has an open mind and wants people to know what is going on. In some cases, people prefer to keep their secret world under wraps in order to sleep in comfort. Rather than living in a constructed world, it is better to live in reality.

As the world mindset begins to change, some people will resist because they don't see the bigger picture that peace between Russia and United States is better for humanity than war. There is no amount of money or arms that will help Ukraine win. Sadly, those who think they know more than Trump are not seeing the bigger picture of what will happen if this war continues.

Conspiracy openings are just another way of awakening the world that war and dirty dealings have no place in our future. Keep the world ignorant about events such as UFOs, COVID, 9/11, JFK, and others, and you will never be able to have a better world. Trump and others who advocate this position are on the right track.

My how the USAID has grown.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,970 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

Not sure where to start with all this

USAID works like a charity, e.g. it gave money to the charitable arm of the BBC, BBC Media Action (which is completely independent from the BBC) to support journalists and training in other countries

    https://www.reuters.com/world/us/news-outlets-reject-trump-accusations-usaid-media-payoff-2025-02-07/

"Alternative news" is another name for counter-factual information.

The idea that this is happening for reasons other than a spiteful, malignant narcissist and his savior of humanity ketamine bro lashing out at things they don't like is laughable.

Folks I've moved the posts about mainstream journalism, to trust or not, to another thread. It can be found here. They're off topic, but there seems to be a decent enough discussion on it so didn't want to simply delete them.

This thread is about declassification of US Files, please keep on topic.

    Thanks

The person supposedly in charge of the disclosure chimes in.

The second post was more to show the farce of what happened, if that poster is all you find objectionable about the “disclosure” then I don’t know.

Supposedly the files are to be released, but when the official GOP account linked them - and it was a Rickroll. They kept the link up for hours before taking it down.

    It's such a clown-show

The thing everyone is worried about is that they are stalling while they delete or redact Trump entries and related (bar the couple we already know about)

It was only a week or so ago that Kash Patel was announced as FBi director. A week won't clean house. Remember, the deep state of the FBI, when it comes to protecting information from coming out, will always try to obstruct it as much as possible. There is already an established fact that the NY FBI office did not hand over all Epstein files to Bondi's DOJ office. Attorney general Bondi wrote in a tweet that she was frustrated with the New York office's obstruction of the Epstein files. In general, what we are seeing here is a war between the old guard at the FBI who seem to want to keep Epstein's secrets hidden from the public and the new administration who seem to want to come out with the truth. Truth can, of course, be sanitized in order to conceal ugly truths from view. It's clear Epstein has links to Israel and probably others from the public record.

As a result, it is somewhat debatable whether the Trump administration will go to great lengths to disclose Epstein's deeper ties to honey pot operations that he was involved in when he worked for it. There may also be people involved who have helped the republican party and democratic party financially. A full disclosure rocks the boat. I don't think anybody doubts that Epstein and his mistress were not the only actors in this long decades long affair, so no matter what comes out now, it doesn't change that fact.

Ultimately, what the Epstein affair has just highlighted is that there is still an undercurrent of child sex rings in the world with global ramifications, and a number of wealthy and famous people are involved in them. A shady and shadowy side of global politics that nobody wants to investigate deeper than the surface appearance of it all.

Regardless, if you believe the narrative of this PR release, it was just the beginning according to Bondi...let's wait and see what they come up with in the months ahead. The Epstein case goes beyond him. It would be astonishing if they exposed one of the allies in the worst possible terms. .. I doubt it

Kash Patel got his job because he’s a boot licker. So much for the anti DEI crusade and hiring the best and brightest, pure sycophancy and if rumors are to believed there’s one DUI hire.

It's an aid organisation, a vast one, that has had some isolated issues (including several based on complaints from autocratic regimes)

The vast majority of it's work has been beneficial. MAGA see it as money flowing out the country, they aren't really into the whole principled helping of other countries - so it's seen as a waste by them. To validate shutting a lot of it down they exaggerated some of the issues and created a fair bit of innuendo themselves.

They are declassifying info as part of their populist agenda - but as we can see from the Epstein files they aren't releasing them properly.

A lot of it is projection.

Apologies. My link above references a crypto company linked to the Trump family. 75% of proceeds from this company goes to the Trump family. A certain Mr Justin Sun spent tens of millions with the company, he was under SEC investigation, and now he’s not. I’m not saying there’s a link between the people linked with the company and the new SEC, but if any Trump had influence on the SEC then they may look favorably on someone who spent tens of millions

James Dennehy was removed as top FBI official in New York yesterday. Supposedly involved in Jan 6th investigation and not releasing esptein files. Looks like promises were kept to remove officials who were working to stop transparency from operating. My last claim still stands, don't expect much evidence about esptein intelligence background. The issue of changing United States' relations with Israel is very hot and would have very significant implications. Inside the FBI, a purge is underway.

So the Epstein files, we got some files released, what did that unearth. The fact he's going after an FBI official that was investigating a failed insurrection, just sounds more like a vindictive man going after those he views as political enemies.

The date of Jan 6th was mentioned in my post so I intend to avoid arguing that the Epstein files are the only reason for the sacking or removal of him.

Obviously, the FBI isn't supposed to take sides, but it's clear that the cultural climate in the United States doesn't allow for that to happen. During the Biden administration, the FBI picked out and went after people who they believed were reckless and undermining their electoral objectives. There was a political aim that was used in that investigation, to undermine another side, and it didn't work well for them.

We know that a whole group of intelligence operatives lied about the hunter Biden laptop being the product of Russian disinformation, and we know that official media apparatus got used once more to discredit that story. The FBI had known for a long time that this was a lie, that it was not Russian disinformation, and they never raised that issue, even when Biden was running for president. It tells you a lot about the influence that the deep state and corporations have over elections if you consider that the state apparatus has been used to conceal the truth from voters

There are a number of reasons why the hunter Biden laptop matters. In fact, Biden's son was seen with very young women, some of them older and some of them very young, that they looked underage and looked like he was using heroin heavily and that he was involved in orgies. Epstein is considered to be this evil man, but here we have a son of a president involved in similar shady activities, which is what speaks volumes about the power elite and what they do when they are in power. It seems like they are trying to conceal that information from the public record and we are supposed to believe that it is normal?

It is true that Donald Trump is not an angel and that he has clearly compromised in his own values of money and power but at least he has a cabinet of people who have different views about the world to a certain extent than he does not. In the matrix of the deep state secrets, perhaps some truth will be able to escape. Time will tell on that.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Biden administration would not have disclosed the JFK files, the RFK files, and the MLK files, so that is a plus in my opinion, even if there is no smoking gun in them. There aren't going to be files in there saying who the shooters are with why, but there are files about cover-ups like the George Joannides case. Like many suspect will show an oswald connection to the cia infiltration of anti castro groups in new Orleans.

It is also possible that these files may contain information about an aerospace connection to Kennedy's killing, as well as a motive for Kennedy's murder. The jfk investigators are looking for new directions to open up new leads and hopefully gain a glimpse behind the veil of the cover up as well.

@Cheerful S I'm guaranteeing you that no conspiracy will be revealed when these files get released.

Biden's son having a substance abuse problem is more just tragic and likely heavily influenced by the childhood tragedy that hit the entire family. Implying that there were minors in the videos is a pretty big jump btw... So nope, it's not remotely similar to Epstein. In relation to Joe Biden, the Republicans opened multiple investigations into him and never exposed actual corruption.

In relation to January 6th, the FBI went after people who attempted an insurrection. Not going after them would be frankly bizarre.

Meanwhile Trump is twice impeached, triggered an insurrection and previously attempted to extort Zelensky. He's appointed people who are accused of covering up child sexual abuse(Linda McMahon and her husband is accused of trafficking), he appointed a rapist in the form of Hegseth and failed to appoint a sex trafficker as Attorney General and RFK who both used heroin and is rumoured to have dealt it. (He also has a history of blending live animals) Meanwhile you're saying they have different views and ignoring how they're far worse than Hunter who was never in any cabinet. I guess they have different views but they're scum of the earth. But they're good cause they believe in conspiracy theories?

If Biden had an unelected billionaire that was making policy decisions, this would have been the odd scenario where the press and conspiracy theorists would largely be in agreement. But since it's in an administration that relies heavily on pushing conspiracy theories, it tends to get praised by both maga crowds and standard conspiracy theorists. Promise some file releases and the in your face conspiracies simply get ignored.
