This is the story of the first half. Forwards aren't getting beyond the gain line so the pull back passes from the backs aren't opening any sort of gaps. The Cardiff defence is numbered up well.

Charlie Tector seems to be our only player gaining any momentum with his carries.

Cardiff with a deserved score to go ahead. Leinster playing terrible so far.

    Awful by McKee.

Snyman needs to come on at the start of the second half. Leinster have been second best in almost every contact.

    Deeny needs to get off.

Deeny it was who made some powerful tackles in earlier.

I repeat Boyle should be on the bench for France game.

That’s a nice time to score a try!

Narrow lead at halftime. Ross, McKee, Tector & the O'Briens impressed. Pack 2nd best throughout. Slow ruck ball. Need to kick in behind them.

    Snyman on for Mangan

    Completely butchered that.

Lucky it was on penalty advantage

    Back on track

Tbf to Leinster it's a 14 pint swing in their favour in the space of about 5 game minutes.

They know how to score when it really matters

Jack Boyle looks hurt here. Went down on his ankle I think?

JOB's kicking has been really poor in the first half. Soroka has had a good game I think.

    Hugh cooney has been excellent

Easy to see why he was a development player in the Ireland squad

100% no chance TOB gets injured before the end of the game.

    Nice by McGrath!

That try came from Snyman skittling about three Cardiff tacklers at once. Amazing what a bit of momentum from a carry can do.

Luke has really improved this season. He routinely looked a liability last year and I wouldn't have minded had he been moved on. But this year's he's been fantastic and back to his old form. Long may it last.

What a try from Tector. He deserves it too.

Been our best back today by a distance.

Now a 28 points swing in Leinster's favour since the 39th minute.

The criticism he was getting last season was OTT

It goes to show why it's important to give young lads time. He's clearly just clearly developed into his body and has gained that explosiveness. Fair play to him.
