A 1-dayer in Dublin city centre does not count as a festival in my book. Looking at that list it appears that what makes festivals popular for Irish Times readers is their proximity to Dublin.

It's a meaningless list, the proper 3-4 day camping festivals shouldn't be compared with one-day events, they're very different experiences.
