Booking new driving test after retest

Hello, When booking a retest soon after a fail (aiming to do that by watching cancellations and quickly rebooking) is it necessary to rejoin the waiting list for this to happen? Or can you just quickly rebook without needing to join waiting list? I’m asking because I’d rather not pay to join the waiting list, then pay…

When booking a retest soon after a fail (aiming to do that by watching cancellations and quickly rebooking) is it necessary to rejoin the waiting list for this to happen? Or can you just quickly rebook without needing to join waiting list?

I’m asking because I’d rather not pay to join the waiting list, then pay again when I want to book after someone cancels.

Yes, you need to join the waiting list. You only pay once for a test, so you’ll pay to join the waiting list, that is all you pay. The only reason you would have to pay again is if you cancel/reschedule within 10 days of your test date.
