O Donoghue definitely a hamstring. It looked more precautionary though then a bad tear as he walked off fine.

Limerick Leader had a "top 5 match ups" today so they either accidentally went early with a tip off or more likely lined up two teams who may not play 🤣

Im a bit nervous about the team named compared to what Tipp have out. Experience wise it's fairly light across a few lines.

People might laugh at his fashion sense but I think it's gonna be pretty emotional to see Dowling playing for Limerick again. Back in 18/19 everyone else was so young I didn't realise how young he still was when he "retired". One of the last links to a time when we went absolutely wild over a single Munster.

Few changes from the last day mostly due to injuries. Aaron Gillane starting along with Dowling, Fergal O Connor, Stokes and Reidy. Lynch into midfield. Flanagan not in the squad.

Not a lot of big names to throw in off the bench. I'm surprised because I thought this was one we would target to pick up points to safeguard from relegation.

Forgot Shane. Based off current form Shane, A English, D Reidy and B Murphy would be possible starters come championship. While credit in the bank has alway been important to JK I think there will be alot of new players come championship.

I think Seamus still has alot to offer but it is probably between himself and Shane for the inside role with Gillane. Patrick O'Donovan reminds alot of Graeme Mulcahy or Peter Casey in the deeper role, tacking and sniping a few points so if he gets another few league has alot of potential. Overall there is good competition for places and with 2/3 injuries likely as has been the case for the last 3 seasons the more options the better.

Will Tom Morrissey struggle to get a place this year. Would Peter Casey make a decent half forward. He certainly has the accuracy from distance. Put him on the opposition's biggest man and let him run and twist him ragged.

Morrissey could lose out to English and Flanagan lose out to O'Brien.

Can't see anything more drastic than that. Kiely just doesn't do drastic.

as well as clicking on a quote to reply to someone but for it not to actually reply directly to that person

its the same with the WTS app , they informed users that they added new features to there app which made it much worse than what it was

surprised with flanagan in the cork game , as far as professional hurlers go he is on top of that list , a doctor or surgeon by trade , i was half under the impression that something was said in the cork game , kiely wouldnt have dropped him if he wasn't wrong

ye know my taught on kiely , the most up front and diligent manager in the country , the great limerick supporter hammy dawson is regularly having a go at brian lohans " Ahm ….Ahm …Ahm" interviews , kiley will never be accused of beating around the bush ,

it shows just how good adam english is if he is taking a player like tom morrissey's position , its still a serious panel and every one is talking about cork this year ,

Naw, Flanagan has plenty of previous. Reds against Waterford and Cork in the league over the past few years, plus very lucky to stay on in the 2021 Munster final and 2023 Round Robin game against Waterford. Those actions could very easily have cost us the games. The lad could have had 4 red cards in the last 4 years, and all very similar ones too. High and late or off the ball. Not very professional if you ask me. My thinking is this is Kiely starting to push Flanagan away. He can make an example of him because he isnt needed or trusted anymore, the same as Pat Ryan. Iv no issues with moving on from him either, a liability waiting to happen due to indiscipline.

    O'Dalaigh, O'Brien. Gillane, Casey, O'Donovan. Plenty there.

I'm sure John Kiely will advise Flanagan that he has to cop on or he will be moved on. If so and he does it again then no issues with him being sidelined. Hope Flanagan gets the option to cop on.

Flanagan isn't getting dropped off the panel. Not being on the starting 15 has been slowly coming for a while now so I don't think this red will change anything.

His scoring return hasn't been that great aswell.

Well the enigma of Flanagan is his average is poor and then he will play a blinder out of nowhere which always keeps him in the mix. His work rate is also very good.

If we can stay injury free from here we'll be there or thereabouts. Does anyone know what the story is with dargah o Donovan

I was going to ask that. I thought he would have been involved in the early stages of league.

Really excited to see this team tomorrow. Seems a very strong starting 15 by Kiely's league standards.
