Should Joel select an infected for either detail then they will be able to infiltrate the camp and kill or convert who they choose.

Okay. I can see how they refers to the infected person, and if they dead, well, they can be doing any infiltrating or converting.

I still think strawbs is wolf, so they were able to infiltrate last night.

I agree that yoss is likely good.

I can see this as being true. And I can understand you fighting this stance. Yeah, i was thinking, is wm always this wolfie, but i just wasn't seeing it from your pov. now i do.

stop stating this as fact. All we know is that the same conditions probably apply today as yesterday (assuming no more mushrooms in the groups). May be everyone or may be the five. Difficult to test without badly hitting our numbers though

I'm not infected 😁. I've even suggested today that me strawbs and trit should be looked at, but I think it benefits the wolves to make the assumption that it's limited to just us 5. And it is an assumption that you're making - you've not offered anything concrete as to why you're right and I'm wrong. I'm good with being policy lynched if it makes sense - but I'm wary of pushing the idea that we are the only 5 potential infected if that's not true.

I don't agree with the interpretation above; IMO, the "they" referenced at the end of this sentence is the wolves collectively so I think it follows that the earlier "they" also references the wolves collectively.

Here's my FFA:

ShaneU - hasn't many posts but the few that he has haven't been great. Weak reasoning for voting Crinkley last night
Strawbs - mostly because of beaker's soft defence of Strawbs to Neo
jayo/WM - mostly because of their stance that the conversion was likely to be among the 5 players
Neowise - not because I feel he's wolfy but I'm fairly certain he'd be close to top of everyone's list to convert as he tends to lead the village; I appreciate that this is a pick based on meta but it can't be ignored either

If I was voting now, I think it would be on ShaneU

Read the OP, read announcements, we are between the 5 tonight. It's still a shot in the dark that we get it right, but I prefer the odds of lynching amongst 5 than amongst all

I'm not so much saying that you're wrong (apart from the bit about me being a convert because there you are wrong) as I am saying that I don't think you can know that you're right, based on the use of the word 'they'. You are assuming the 'they' refers strictly to the infected person on the detail. I am suggesting that 'they' is referring to the infected collectively…in other words, if Joel selects an infected, the infected can target anyone.

I can't be yeeted so this isn't biased - it is possible that the mushrooms can kill or convert any poster they choose as long as one of them is chosen by Joel. Joel choose Liz yesterday and Beaker today, I think the other(s) could infiltrate based on them being picked regardless of them being killed. Remember, they can communicate.

It might really be playing to the mushrooms advantage to yeet one of the 3/5 available today if they converted elsewhere.

We also won't always know if a mushroom is in the group unless we kill one every day, but if they have infiltrated Jackson that's irrelevant.

So, yeet one of the 3 today, if they flip village do we line up everyone that's been sent out and yeet them in order?

There's currently 5 of us in total, another 6 tomorrow, 6 more the day after that etc.

While I don’t like Strawbs general lack of contribution, I was signalling pretty strongly overnight that I’d peeked Beaker and he was bad. And I genuinely don’t believe Beaker is the type of player who’d miss that. The utter lack of response from him, when he’s the type who’d read everything being posted, means I think he was aware a pre-munch reveal was very likely. Hell, he was even talkin about 9.59 reveals

so….if the wolves knew id caught Beaker….would Strawbs really have been likely to shove Beaker as her second most trusted villager in the game? That’s a massive double bluff if so….

So yeet Lord, Leggy, Ecto, Strawbs, Trit, Yoss, the 3 security from tonight. That's 9 yeets, if the conversions are outside that group it's game over. If 2 of us were infected you could theoretically have 7 misyeets before finding those 2.

In the 15, we have Marlene and N infected (min 1, max 2 imo) with rest village. So 2 v 1 v 12 or 1 v 1 v 13.

It really has the camp divided, and i don't think either side is wolf motivated.

Do you think Joel has the option to send no one? Given scavengers were told the locations would be forcefully picked at random if they didn’t pick one, and it’s a mechanic tied to yeeting/munching, I’d have presumed Joel HAS to send people out on scavenging details. I can’t see the mechanics allowing the village to sandbag it.

plus, scavenging provides the chance to get things to help the village, and already helped gun down a wolf. Kind of feels we need to scavenge to take the risk and make sure we don’t get overwhelmed by infections.
