It wasn't as bad as I thought.

The presentation is a good selling point for yourself just make sure you stick to the time. I can't even remember the questions now but have them wrote down somewhere and if I get them I'll dm u.

Main focus was on your role of delivering and designing cpd before, got a question on Any new policies that I had been reading up on and fav part of my subject are a few that came to mine

I've got help off few Ed career coaches in past for jobs ap posts etc and found them useless. But can't remember the girls name on fb teachers ladder her page is called was beyond amazing she's reasonable and 100 knowledgeable of the role with oide and interview techniques

    Hope that helps

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone on here has any tips or recommendations for help with the Oide interview process?

I know they haven't advertised for this year yet but I just want to get an idea of what it might entail.

Anyone have any questions that they typically ask? Or any information about the 5 minute presentation?

Thank you to anyone who might have some insights to offer! :)

    Hi all,

I see Oide are now advertising jobs.

Anyone have any insight into the interview process - questions asked, what the presentation is like?

What are the chances of getting a job if I don't have experience designing and delivering cpd?

    Thanks!

Presentation is a five minute oral presentation on your vision for the position. So you can't use powerpoint etc. It's done at the start of the interview, so it's your opportunity to pitch yourself.

    Thanks for the info!

Do you know if you can use notes?

Well it's online, so if you had them pinned to the wall behind your screen or something, no one is going to see them.

I out fee things on wall above me and used a prompt app to run my presentation on my screen to help me with the presentation. Think it was on my vision for the role when I did it

    Hi there,

I’ve been called for an interview in the coming days and I’m just looking for a bit of advice. If anyone has any tips or insights about the interview process, I’d really appreciate it.

If you’re currently in the role (or have interviewed for it before), I’d be especially grateful if you could share your experience- feel free to reply here or send me a private message.

    Thanks so much in advance!

How did your interview go? I had mine a few weeks ago and i've not heard back yet.
