About half the squad for Sunday are the wrong side of 30 (I'm excluding Murray as Craig Casey would probably be in there were he not injured). I've put in the ages on the selection graphic. Biggest issue is probably the front row, Tadg Furlong is 32.

But it's not that bad, good mix of youngsters coming through or already made it.

Very disappointed to see Prendergast starting again. The evidence from the England game was for all to see. As soon as Crowley came on, we were a different team, completely dominating. Prendergast may well develop into a great player, but let this happen in a Leinster jersey, or as a replacement no. 10.

Nash is a concern, good club player but not sure he's a test match animal and Scotland have good strength on the wing, particularly when attacking.

He was at fault for the england try in the last 6N when he was annihilated in a contact he was favourite for and was then mia on the wing where they scored.

Good form this season though so hope he carries it into the internationals.

I think this will be very tight.

Scotland are decent and must be super motivated giving the losing streak, especially playing at home.

Ireland by a single score

I'm very nervous about this game for us tomorrow. Scotland will be highly motivated to beat us at home, doing so would throw the championship wide open and they'd be the only team unbeaten. If we start slowly we could find ourselves in trouble, this Scotland team could rack up the points quickly. I don't want to see us chasing the game after 30 mins, I'd worry if we put ourselves behind early on. Scotland would take huge confidence from that.

We don't need to be forcing anything, just match them up front for the first 50-60 mins and keep ourselves just ahead. Tomorrow will be a day for taking our shots at goal, keep the scoreboard ticking over and every 3pts will sap their confidence. Predergast has a big role to play in that regard, his place kicking will have to be on song. That's how we win this one, get our noses in front and stay there until we unload the bench for the final 20. We will win comfortably if we do that. If our decision making is off and we're not up to the pitch of the game early on it'll be a long afternoon.

Bonus points mean nothing now for us but in defeat. Turning down makeable kicks at goal away from home is now unforgivable. I'll lose my sh*t tomorrow if we try to win the game early by kicking to the corner and end up getting turned over. It's cup rugby from here on out and we need to realise that.

As paybacks go, the FFR have lost millions on it and are likely to lose more due to a VAT error. €25 million in total.

For me if Ireland don’t bring their A game when in Scotlands 22 we will lose.
look at France yesterday, they threw the game away by their errors.

If we start well we will win comfortably by day 12, but if we start like the England game we could be in Trouble.
