    Hi guys,

A bit of a dumb question, but I've been looking at a UK store that makes period light switches and I was wondering if these type of dimmer switches would be acceptable for a new wiring job under Irish regs. Please see specs below

    Many thanks

Not an electrician but the dimmer module is show here and it's displaying a BS and a CE mark, so that implies that it's up to spec in the UK and Europe. Somebody else might have specifics on the requirements for the Irish regs.

Once in a while I frequent this store in Northern Ireland. They have a lighting section. May or may not be useful to the OP
