Does anyone know if its possible to get a house removed from a flood zone , my hosue was rezone into one in 2022, im now having difficulty selling as insurance is a bother, pre 2022 it was fine, when i built the house i raised the entire site above the 100 year flood plane as it was a condition of planning. im living here 42 years and never had a flood. im 1km from the nearest river.

Rezoned by who - the local council, OPW or your insurer? The OPW is basically thesource data and there is a process you can follow to get them to review the data/maps. Bear in mind that climate change is real and modelling has improved also so things are liable to change over 42 years.
