PV panel guidelines for semi-detached houses

What are the stipulations around PV panels on a semi-detached house roof? I understand panels must be at least 500mm from the edge of the roof and 200mm from the centre of the ridge, velux windows, etc.

However, what is the stipulation regarding proximity to the (invisible) boundary on the roof to the house next door?

Mine are definitely within the 500mm boundary of the neighbours roof. There's some roof vents there on our side so we couldn't go closer but wouldn't have fit more panels anyway

I think in theory you could go up to the dividing line but best to give some distance to avoid any possibility of interfering with their roof
