That's a lovely colourful photo. Would make an interesting jigsaw or painting.

We've had some pretty sunrises over the last few days here in Narth Cark. This was yesterday. This morning was clear, bright, blue (if a little chilly!) and the birds were certainly awake!

Cannot get warm. Heading.to bed with a hot water bottle soon. Quiet weekend ahead. Mr E went to India last weekend.amd.wont.be back until the end of next. I was thinking of tidying his "man cave" but maybe not...

@Greminlertia delighted to hear you have your surgery date

Home , several hours now , from a couple of nice pints . Only problem is now I'm a bit wired and can't sleep .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,859 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

no pints but weirdly wired too so not feeling sleepy.

Not complaining though, been a good week, so some Spotify and chilling in bed now.

Got nothing to do, nada to do tomorrow… im going to reinvent lazy so it’s that lazy I’m going to have an app on my phone to order a monkey butler who will arrive and do all cooking, cleaning, bringing drinks, snacks, fluffing of pillows and even answer my phone calls and emails if any.

    Happy St. Brigid's Day

I think this is my favourite holiday weekend. It's not consumed by consumerism - Christmas is a train wreck for me; paddies day same. January over. Days brightening up. Birds singing.

Grave done, two cottage pies in the oven, one packed with veg the other without. Time to bring in firewood for the evening then maybe a coffee ☕ ☺️

sitting on the hotel balcony, drinking coffee and wrapped in my cloak and plane spotting, morning started off at 4 degrees :):)

Was supposed to be a long work day, but it got cut in half, so it’s a work night.

    Bank holiday sunday.. Yuck..

Clearing up here. Been drizzling all day. Climbing up the walls inside. Just too many problems at home. Out now for a walk and and talking a break from it all. Loads of people out walking.

Edit: meant to say clearing up here, i.e. the weather; rather than me cleaning up. But ...autocorrect 😁

Just finished a good clean of the place before an old college friend drops over.

Visitors coming over is always a good incentive to get motivated to clean!

Well that explains a multitude, we don't really don't do visitors or go to other homes. Anxiety is a hell of a drug

If it wasn't for visitors there's a very strong possibility my house would never get tidied (obviously kitchen, bathroom hoovering gets done) but the general de-cluttering I'm both blind and allergic to.

Speaking of decluttering, I just got home from finally getting rid of some old batteries. Been putting that off for far too long,

Not actually a bad day, it feels a bit like spring out there today.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

I've Netflix on in the background here , while sorting through clothes, what's staying, going to recycling, for the caravan for camping. Long overdue but I hate doing it.
