Is anyone having issues logging into the huawei fusion solar portal/app? I have not tried to log into for months as the system just works away but for the past few weeks I can't get in so wanted to see if it's me or a bigger issue? It seems to accept my username and password but just hangs there.

I'm having that problem today but I've been able to access the app normally up to now. I have noticed that the service does go down from time to time.

I don't know if this is a common problem but I would say at least half the time I go into the app it just shows no data ie no electricity being generated or used. It's really frustrating, has to be the glitchiest app I've ever used.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Just opened it again there to check, no issues. Made me confirm terms and conditions after a recent update.

I find the inverter itself likes to drop off the network from time to time (so the app connects but shows zero) but that improved a lot when we extended the wifi better. It still falls off occasionally in the middle of the night but I'm polling it from the local ntwork for home assistant, so it's nothing to do w/ the huawei app

I've had it for almost 18 months for my install, and while it does occasionally seem to completely lose connection temporarily, this past week or two in particular I seem to open it to no real time readings, but the graph is up to date. Website seems to show similar. Makes me wonder if they messed up an update on their side as I don't recall an app update in that time frame.

My install was in October last year and I have been checking the app every few days since, along with logging into the website periodically.

It's never failed to load for me. I do have a wifi mesh point quite close to where the system is set up in my garage, so connectivity is strong and maybe that keeps the system "awake" all the time?

I had the same before I installed my Mesh network, rock solid since.

Interesting - I had the same issue earlier but I put it down to the fact that my inverter had tripped (during the storm) and that something got knocked out. I just tried it there though and it's all working again - funny timing for the login issue.

I wonder then if it's simply the distance from the inverter in the attic to the router in the living room and not a problem with the app. Would make sense in fairness.

Depends how it's setup. My installer added a Huawei dongle that has a sim so it is not connected to my home WIFI. It sends the stats to the Huawei cloud. I use the fusion website as normal.

A few times a year the dongle loses connection and I've to power off the inverter, remove the dongle from the USB port, put it back in again, turn the inverter on again.

Looks like it's back for me now so that's great. Thanks for all the comments. I still find it fustrating that I don't have more control over my own system and have to call them to make any changes. I do admit if I knew that before the install I would have looked at other options.

I added a new mesh router in the attic to give a more robust connection to the dongle, and it has worked wonders.

Bear in mind that WIFI signals are blocked by insulation (especially foil backed).

Call who to make a change? The installer just gives you access once to give your the rights to setup your login. Then you have all you need. If the Huawei app is acting up, the installer has nothing to do with that.

Who changed what so you got access again? Will help others who search this thread in the future.

An example would be that I wanted the battery to charge overnight on the cheap rate so I was given a number by the installer to call and they set this up for me. Another chagge I eventually wanted was how much the battery discharges, it was set to go no lower than 15% and I had this dropped to 5%.

The access just came back so it was more than likely a glitch that fixed itself.
