and of course you could get bbc itv on an old sky tv box without paying a subscription

Winkleman's good fun to be honest - name someone else in the regular BBC rota you'd prefer? Alex Jones, Lauren Laverne, Paddy McGuinness? It's slim pickings.

She's a solid pick.. remember when they had Jack Whitehall present it, he was horrendous!

I thought she did a very good when she did the film review show, probably 7 or 8 years ago now. Has a good sense of humour and doesn't take herself seriously.

Yep just over 6 years ago. The Film Show was cancelled in December 2018. Can't say I miss it. I used to think what stuck up posh spoiled fu-ckers they were getting to see all these films without having to pay and they ruined a few on me too as well as other people with spoilers and I think that is why people stopped watching it and it got cancelled.

As for this weeks Graham Norton I thought Brie Larson was hilarious. I can't stand Billy Portor or Claudia Winkelman even though I know she has had ups and downs in life. I just get the feeling she thinks she is better than the rest of us nere poor mortals. I just think he Billy Portor is a posh attention seeker and the other one was OK. As for the singer ye I could not care less.

Thought Brie Larson was on something tbh.. she was a bit jittery in the chair and kept interjecting little off-comments. Maybe it was the margarita.

That Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz Netflix movie looks like absolute trash..

.. Diaz hasn't been in a movie in almost 10 years and came out of retirement for it - must be short on cash clearly!

Was Jonathan going for Miami Vice 2 with the outfit and walk off with Jamie 😄

Graham gets a lot of repeat guests, including a number of Hollywood actors such as Reese Witherspoon. I think Will Ferrell was on before as well (too lazy to wade through this thread!). It would be interesting to know who have been the most frequent guests by country on this show since it started. Say: British (break that down further if you like), American, Canadian, Irish, Australian and any other country you care to think of.

There's a list on Wikipedia, not sure how often it's updated:

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Graham_Norton_Show_episodes

British: Ricky Gervais (16), American: Tom Hanks (9), Irish: Jamie Dornan (9), Australian: Kylie Minogue and Nicole Kidman (8)

I thought Michele Yeoh from the week before episode looked way too thin myself. Jeez eat something girl. Also I think Cameton Diaz is not aging well at alI

She has lines around her eyes and her face just looks old. All that money she should be able to afford to look young till her 60s at least. have not seen this weeks episode yet because of the stupid storm and I had no power :( . Lucky I still had the episode from the week before to catch up on lol. So behind on everything 🙃🫡🙂‍↔️

Ah, leave poor Cameron alone! She looks great for 52, and if she got loads of work done to look younger, you'd probably criticise her for not growing old gracefully.

    How are you looking yerself?

    I most certainly would not.

I look much younger than I am and am getting younger looking still so I am happy 🙂 .

    What a ridiculous post.

"She can afford to look young"

Maybe she doesn't want to undergo surgery for vanity?

Or maybe she doesn't like the thoughts of injecting herself to freeze the top of her face?

Or maybe she realises people tend to look ridiculous the more of these "procedures" they get.

Every word out of Ariana Grande's mouth didn't feel in the slightest bit sincere.. she's a strange one.

For someone in her early 30's, she still comes across incredibly naive and childlike.

Been too long in the limelight unfortunately.

yea, dunno how much of her carry on is acting. She ain't naive though. over 200mil in the bank.

Yes she talked too much and I thought did not get to the point in her stories

Apparently her relationship with co star Ethan Slater happened when both were married to other people, her Disney/Nickelodeon, good girl crown gone

Don Gilet did not speak enough and seemed a fun cool guy, Will at least engaged with him in banter

I could be misremembering but didn't she have some long-term illness as a child/younger woman? ime that can lead to having less developed opinions on matters outside their world(naturally enough) but her recent comments about how comfortable people are about commenting on others' weight while noble and correct, the vehement behind them reminds me of several of the people with ED Ive worked with.

She has been in the spotlight since a child and her music career catapulted her to one of the biggest worldwide, then the Manchester bombing at her gig, she has had it tough, could have mental health issues, bipolar?

I wouldn't be an avid watcher of Death In Paradise (the stories usually follow the same pattern, even if they acknowledge do it themselves in the programme), but I watched a random episode on Alibi, from the fourth series. The usual stuff happened, murderer found, everyone's happy, so when the new Christmas episode came out on BBC, I said I'd watch it. This is the one where Don Gilet appeared on the island.

But he played the murderer on that other episode!! Why didn't they recognise him?!? 😄 I realise that actors can play multiple characters in the same programme, like Peter Capaldi in Doctor Who before he got the lead.
