    @realdanbreen

Messing aside, ye all love him in Tipp, he's your own, he's done a lot a good for ye, we'd all do the same. He's God in Holycross. If you can't back your own.

But you have to realise outside Tipp he's the lad that got £250,000 for his house in the 90s. That's some sum in euro today. For me, and an awful lot of people he's a sleveen rogue. A lad that should be nowhere near negotiating for government.

I don't like the cut of him, never did. It's nothing against Tipperary or Tipp people.

You may get a thick skin about Lowry if you talk about him around the country or read stuff online.

I hope you enjoyed the show tonight.

Can't wait for the angle when probably one of the best ever hurlers, easily in the top ten, goes to court for his deception. With a phone charger up his nose. Won't be his wheelhouse to comment surely.

10pm you mean? It’s being played in Los Angeles again isn’t it same as USA 94 it was a 2pm kick off and 9pm In Ireland . It will be the first non floodlit World Cup final since Brazil in 14 and that was under lights by extra time

don't mind me, I was looking at the wrong tournament, and calculating the time difference the wrong way round, so…

The final will be in New Jersey, doesn't seem to be any time yet, probably will kick off between 7 and 10 PM, more than likely it will clash with the Sunday Game that night.

I think the World Cup final will be in MetLife New Jersey?? If not there I guess it’s in Sofi stadium LA. Has venue been confirmed yet??

The refrigeration business did get him an extension on his house.

He tops the poll because Tipp people still think Dubliners are against them and their choice of candidate. Not that people consider him to be corrupt and that that has been proven.

As he says himself, "Unfortunately, if it doesn’t please some of you, that’s your problem, not mine."

It was a b######t answer by Burns and didn't answer Kielty's question at all.

    It's hypocrisy by Jarlath Burns.

Oddly enough, (and despite predictions of it being a slow night), there’s been more posts on this thread in the last twelve hours than the last few weeks put together! 😁

The World Cup final will be postponed.

Jarlath Burns will send them an email.

Gallagher was going to be managing and Hayes wasn't. That was a difference I hadn't considered and I'm happy with the explanation. I don't think Burns wanted the fact he emailed Naas out in public. Naas don't come out too well out of this either

Hes rubbish about there being path back in to the GAA was a bit rubbish though

Do you seriously believe that "Tipp people " care whether Dubliners are against them or not!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,193 ✭✭✭RoTelly

You seriously think that Mr. Lowry is the only TD that gave something back to his community? If that is the case them they have more serious problems in Tipperary than I imagined. This idea that one TD or one family are the only people giving back to the community is suspect. Perhaps I am wrong and Lowry an Independent Opposition TD has really proven his worth to Tipp that no other Opposition TD could achieve.

How did you possibly come to that conclusion from my post! I mean would reading it again help!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,193 ✭✭✭RoTelly

I am explain how I come to one of the many reasons that Tipperary Voters vote for Lowry, there are some who believe the media/Dublin media are witch hunting him. Just one reason, I was explaining the unlikely other reason that he happens to be the best TD in the country/constituency, something often cited by local electors.

So no I don't think I need to re-read you post which suggests that the reason people vote for Lowry is not due to their bias against Dubliners.

So a GAA special last week and this week largely a Rugby special … while Irish Women in Harmony will yet again get an outing because they are so popular.

Couldn’t find the line-up online - honestly thought it had been cancelled due to Storm Eowyn!

Then I remembered Francis Brennan, Keith Barry and Dermot Bannon are always waiting in reception - the show must go on! 😁

Is that a record? Maybe Dermot Bannon has a faster reappearance
