Freddie should have said Charlotte told him Leanne had the shield. Let on he didnt know why she would. Puts the suspicion on Charlotte. He done goofed up badly saying it was Minah who told him.

Seers thing is a bit weird. Fran will know for certain Charlotte is a traitor, but how can she prove it to the other faithful. Equally Charlotte will turn around and say Fran is a traitor who's lying. Freddie nominating Charlotte is the only back up Fran has to her claim Charlotte is a Traitor.

Leanne is so incapable of taking criticism. Alexander for the win because he winds her up so much!

However tonight plays out, I do have to say last night's episode seems just about as good an episode as the Traitors format allows. Everyone trying to play 4D chess with wildly varying degress of success, plans playing out in the most delightfully chaotic way possible, and the twists having the funniest possible outcome.

I do think tonight could be a tad anticlimactic as a result. Presuming Frankie tells everyone the truth (why wouldn't she), really the only really safe bet for the other players is to banish both Frankie and Charlotte, just to be sure. I had hoped Charlotte would win after the sheer deviousness of her playing for the last few episodes, but I don't think she can talk her way out of this one. But hey, if she does, a fun episode ahead :)

I was about to say the same. I thoroughly enjoyed last night's episode. Freddie trying to pretend about Minah and the shield, that was just priceless.

I'm not sure tonight can live up to it. 😁

I would imagine both are equally trusted by the rest except for Alexander - he definitely will believe Frankie - but if I were a faithful I’d only choose the person I’m most certain of - non of the faithfuls want a repeat of last year so there’s only one choice- vote out everyone till you and one other are the last

Overall I think this has been a very poor series, apart from last nights explosive episode the rest has been quite dull.

I hope Charlotte doesn't win it, Alexander was a good addition and I hope he wins it.

Maybe the low-key smartest play of the season was Alexander giving Frankie the coins in that final challenge. Made total sense from a tactical perspective. If Charlotte had done something similiar (given she was never going to win) it would've been a great move too, but arguably she's ended up where she is now because she didn't.

The show has been much better this week. Probably not a coincidence that it's improvement came about at the at the exact time Joe was booted out. Obviously Leanne is a pain in the arse as well, but I can just about manage one dose, the two of them combined was just too much.

Its a great program but the faithful seem to look for traitors based on random clues are you too intelligent a facial expression anything that makes you slightly different .it's supposed to represent a wide range of people including people who are of average intelligence. The gothic castle and the clothes that Claudia wears make it different from big brother .the point of big brother was to see what happens when you put different people in a house and see what happens will they argue or get on with each other . It gets better as more people leave the castle. It seems designed to attract a middle class audience theres always been programs about people who live in large mansions or castles and drive range rovers on large estates . Claudia wears clothes that are over the top and expensive .she do,s not shop at pennys

Theres version of this program around the world it's the latest reality TV concept .

Of course it's edited to be more entertaining like big brother highlights

As others have already said, getting picked by the seer has ended both charlotes and frankies game. they'll be first two banished.

alex will only win if its all three choose to end the game there, but i don't think alex or leann will end the game there. one last banishment will see alex banished and the game ends, with leann and jake sharing the gold.

Can't really seeing it play out any other way.

It was so good watching the smartest player win last year. If the idiotic Leanne and Frankie (and for the most part Jake) win this by accident, it will a huge disappointment - particularly the thoroughly toxic Leanne.

I don't think there's anything low key about Alexander's smarts - he's clearly the stand out sharp player from the time he arrived, playing with a difficult combination of circumstances (returning late, the Death Match).

What if Francesca knows Charlotte, related, another Diane / Ross secret, they team up, keep the winnings together

But she’s not a traitor ? Doesn’t traitor Trump faithful if they’re remaining two?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,147 ✭✭✭✭Kolido

What happens if there are 4 players left and they vote 2 players with 2 votes each, how do they decide?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 91,033 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

Yes a traitor keeps all the money if remaining whereas any faithfuls left share but maybe Charlotte and Francesca if they knew each other had a plan before or form a plan now, I'm just thinking out loud but hoping more twists tonight

I am kinda disappointed by the seer twist. I think it might have played out better without it. But who knows! Last night was great anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,496 ✭✭✭bren2001

It's clutching at straws for that twist.

The only twist i see is that Francesca could possibly opt to be recruited. Seems a bit overpowered tho and unlikely

I think it would have been better if the seer was able to ask if the person was a traitor or not without the person knowing. So they would have gained the knowledge without any of the other contestants knowing.

Thought there were going to have to turn a photo over to reveal faithful or traitor then remembered they said they would meet in person

I felt awfully sorry for Freddie last night. Totally blindsided and wasn't given any time to react and try come up with a story. I'm not sure most others would've done any better in the circumstances, I'd have totally panicked!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,138 ✭✭✭Neowise

the voted players can't vote in a revote.

If the two subsequent votes are tied again, i don't know how it is tiebreakered.

Regarding tonight, it'll be interesting to see what Francesca does with the information. I mean the obvious thing is to out Charlotte immediately, but Charlotte will obviously then deny and try to pin it on Francesca. Not sure what the best way to go is for Francesca, but the Seer twist looks like it'll ultimately be a poisoned chalice.

As others have said, I think Jake and Leanne will end up splitting the pot between them. Got to think however it plays out tonight that either one of Charlotte or Francesca go first, then the other will be banished just to be sure. When it comes down to the last three of Leanne, Jake and Alexander, Leanne (at least) will vote to banish again which will eliminate Alexander. Ideal scenario for me is Alexander getting at least something from the prize fund, ideally with Francesca, but I just can't see it.

There is some good parts to this show but it still very much talk driven.

Freddie was doomed, he should have said no I be murdered as I am going to be banished if I become a traitor.

Biggest mistake was the lie, also did the editors were edit his shocked face on the entry of Leanne because that should have given him away to everyone.

I am surprised that Alexander didn't pick on the anger in his eyes with Charlotte, he messed up badly.

Glad that Charlotte turned on Minah, she deserved that after back stabbing the other traitors.

Odd take to say Minah backstabbed the others. They were sinking ships at the point she voted for them. Hardly a backstab.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,190 ✭✭✭RoTelly

I think she was going with the flow against them TBH if she wasn't backstabbing them she was certainly unaware until the final round table with them, would have to look at the votes but would she have had a casting vote. Is Charlotte more crafty?

Minah didn't backstab them - she just didn't drown herself to keep them afloat.

I can't see Charlotte survive unless she's next level.

She's been good in the subtle plays and planting seeds, but these are a flock of sheep and a dog with a bone… if Frankie outs her - it will be the first time someone as ever said "I am 100% sure Charlotte is a traitor" and actually been 100% - this will turn every spotlight on Charlotte and I'm not sure she'll stand up to the scrutiny over the course of the day. They'll see she only voted for Minah the night she got banished, I think she only voted Freddy once and that same night he voted for her.

It puts Frankie at risk, but silence does nothing for her either.

If I had complete hindsight - I'd not out her. I'd declare her faithful, hope she confirmed this - get rid of Leanne & Jake. Then, tell Alexander I lied about Charlotte to get rid of more people and increase the prize pool. Me & Alex banish Charlotte, split the money, and then live happily ever after together in a sitcom-style-flat-situation, singing nursery rhymes backwards.

Why would Freddie opt to be murdered? That makes no sense.

He tool the option that gave him a chance of getting further in the game which is the right thing to do. He backed himself as well he should.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 91,033 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

Linda did tell her vote her and tbf Minah kept Linda in longer by pushing on a Faithful, Armani got herself out with being cocky, Minah picked the wrong recruit in Charlotte, proved even though quiet with a fake Welsh accident is ruthless

^ The ultimatum scenario of murder-or-be-murdered doesn't make much sense anyways..

.. the only reason to say no would be the notion of pride of being remembered as a faithful.

But it's not like anyone is going to remember you fondly after they're finished tucking into their croissants at breakfast the next morning!
