Galway city. Something hit the back door with a bang a bit ago - door fine, but wouldn't have wanted to be outside for whatever it was. I see some roof cladding on the ground out the front as well :(

Red is a single fault but can impact numerous customers

Blue are clusters and the more you zoom in on the map the clusters divide up to smaller clusters or individual faults

Example, when you view the map first for Athlone you might see a Blue 10, as you zoom it that blue dot might change to 3 blue dots, say 3,3&4, as you continue to zoom in they will eventually show as red, click on the red and you'll see the report time, the estimated time of repair and the number of customers affected

Couple of huge gusts here in South Wexford the last 10 minutes. Should be peaking here now in the next hour.

on the Laois Kilkenny border! Not yet at peak but gusts of 120km/h. Power out over an hour ago when it wasn’t as wild. My roof is damaged from storm Daragh ! I’m very worried about the creaking sounds! I wish everyone good luck! A sleepless night for me.

Limerick suburbs (near Gaelic Ground). Very windy, one “oh sh1t” gust but nothing out of ordinary so far. I’m seeing flashes, two in last 10 mins, but power still there.

Insanely loud in Galway city. Gusts feel like they're gonna take the roof. Lights have flickered twice in the 5 mins I've had them on. Was woken at 320 and can't see myself getting any more sleep. If anything it's getting worse.

Power gone North Offaly. All kinds of noises on roof, outside etc. Nerves are shredded while the other half is deep asleep. I can't understand it lol. Going to be a mess in the morning

196 km/h at Kilkee in the 3am hour.

    106 f**king knots.

West Clare could be looking at widespread destruction, power outages being the least of it.

was woken by the wind here in south Dublin about an hour ago and don’t think I’m getting back to sleep. Apart from the constant roar through nearby trees, the roof is flexing like I’ve never heard before and the great wheelie bin migration seems to be well underway. Have heard one ir two more substantial crashes in the area too.

Wind figures from churchtownweather.ie nearby show a max 80 kph gust and a steady increase in the average. Hopefully we’re topping out soon

This is weird, got through this better than I thought, but now the gusts have got really bad. I am wondering is now the time the sting jet would hit SW Kerry high in the Reeks ?

Small, small bit of respite here on Clare/ Limerick border after what was an absolutely terrifying 30 mins after waking up. Absolutely relentless and hope it doesn't return.

    S.e. Sligo

Power went off at 3.30 but came back on 5 mins later and has gone again now.

Was expecting to lose it and am prepared with a Genny to keep the chest freezer alive, pain in the hole though.

Gusts just starting to get into their stride now, hope everyone stays safe.
