how do I go about getting my uncles will forensically tested as I’m not convinced that the will was written by him.

It took me 33 years to obtain it from my solictors

If the will that was left with the solicitor was unsigned then why do you want it forensically tested to prove it was written by him? If it is unsigned then its of no use as it is not a legally valid will.

So when the OP says it took him 33 years to get his uncle's will from his solicitors, he actually means that it took him 33 years to get his uncle's draft will from his uncle's solicitors.

OP, you need to give the facts straight, and accurately. Resist the temptation to manipulate them so that people will tell you what you want to be told.

I see no point in getting your uncle's draft will "forensically tested" to see if he wrote it. He didn't write it; his solicitor wrote it, and it would have been printed using one of his solicitor's printers. Your uncle quite possibly never handled the document sent to you; that doesn't stop it being a genuine draft of his will. I don't see what forensic testing could possibly tell you that would be of any use to you.

There are recognised forensic document examiners. You can engage one of them. They may be able to discredit the document.

An unsigned draft will isn't worth discrediting as it isn't of any use.

I don't think the OP is being accurate and clear. Taken on its face, he wants to check the authenticity of a draft unsigned will leaving something to him because he doesn't believe it was written by his uncle. He doesn't appear to be disputing the authenticity of the previous will which left land to someone else.

How and ever. I would imagine that, hypothetically, an unsigned draft might have had some use in the case of an estoppel claim to add weight to the claim of an assurance having been made. Which doesn't appear to be an issue here in any case.
