No mobile phone signal for days

with Tesco mobile (who use the Three masts/service)

No mobile phone signal in our area (south Sligo) since Monday so no way of receiving / making calls. - How are we fixed in Ireland for refunds for loss of service when outages like this happen - are we entitled to deduction on bills for how many days without service? or refund of a months sub for loss of service? - or just nothing at all?

some people have contacted three who have replied saying they are waiting for a part and access to the mast and have no idea how long the service will be out for.

I can go into manual network settings on my mobile phone and see we have got a setting for Vodafone and Meteor (that must be eir now mustnt it seeing as Meteor has been long gone?) anyway as expected if I try selecting them of course it says the SIM cannot be registered with the network so i cannot use their masts, but this then leads toanother question . I think it was years ago I was with Meteor I think it was and if Meteor service went down they had some agreement with either eir or O2 whereby if there was an outage or no signal or weak signal you could go into manual network settings of the mobile phone and simply choose the other mast , so at least you had some way of receiving and making phone calls, why on earth can they not offer that these days these mobile phone signal providers? - it was really handy.
