Day and night scope

Is there a ban on the sale atm on day/night scopes, ie hikmicro lrf or pulsar, don't seem to locate any dealers in Ireland stocking them,I know they are restricted

Not that I know of as I bought one last month and the license came through yesterday.

There is no ban, but since they were classed as restricted the number of dealers who can sell them is down(only restricted dealers can).

John Lambert I'm camolin can get you the hikmicro. They have to import them as needed. They don't bring in 10 at time like other non restricted optics.

How did you find getting the license for them? Do you just apply for a restricited license for the scope or update your rifle license to make it resitricited with scope included?

No need to update your rifle license, you apply for a restricted license for the NV as you do for a firearm. No issues getting it,a bit **** windy processing it, and ringing you asking questions
