Hey guys. What heats underfloor heating ? Electric or a heat pump ? Assuming it's not compatible with a oil or lpg gas boiler? Or air 2 water ? Will also need to heat DHW...

Deciding how to heat a 10,000 square foot house. Or for the big rooms, which make up 50% of floor space, would you go air to air and regular electric for the rest ? It's 3 phase supply...

You can have underfloor running on any of these - pelectric (expensive to run), oil, gas or heat pump.

Which is best will depend on many factors. A Heat Pump would be the current technology and probably the most environmentally friendly solution. It certainly deserves a fair hearing.

But look at an oil and gas option too.
