haha I’m guessing maybe they got loads of people asking! I thought it was the result first and was like good god no!!! lol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24 Nedzer12

They were probably getting hounded with questions as to when the results would be out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32 sbtr2023

What a nothing email though, narrowing it down to 31 days! Like an early/mid/late wouldn't have gone astray

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10 Sharon1972

ah stop I thought I was going to pass out. Definitely thought it was the results

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5 Clearly678

does anyone have an idea on when they might publish results?

I emailed them & they replied to say they expect to release results next week...

They also advised that Stage 2 will consist of shortlisting based on the application forms. Stage 3 will consist of interviews "as positions become available". Hence they were not able to provide any anticipated dates for Stages 2 or 3.

I'm anxious to get the results

I would think because the 2022 AP panel was extended until 28th February, 2025, that there will be no appointments made from this panel until March at the very earliest.

You're right, I suppose that's why there's no hurry on them with releasing results & setting dates for the following stages...I'm just anxious to know if I got through to next stage. The 2022 comp appears to have barely moved (outside of Dublin) even though it was extended (according to the boards thread). So I guess it's just a very slow process overall!

The info booklet said that they don't envisage making any appointments from this competition after December 2025, you'd wonder why they didn't just extend the 2022 panel until then and save themselves the hassle of running another competition

it is likely that the panel is more or less exhausted in Dublin so they need to form a new panel. Unfortunately for those of us outside Dublin we may have a long wait

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 181 ✭✭Jsherlock1

I imagine that is the case, hopefully we all know where we stand soon.

Brutal, gutted, 3 points short of qualifying on the situational judgement, did rather well on the other two. I wonder whether the situational judgement one was also scored on time, faster = better, like. 3 points! Anyway, best of luck to you all.

I didn’t get anything yet. You must have been in the first batch. Can I ask if you had selected Dublin? I’m wondering if they’re doing Dublin first.

I also fell short by 3 points. I had never done an exam in that style before. A few years ago I got to interview stage. I failed it but it stood to me for HEO shortly afterwards.

A little disappointed but I wasn't holding out much hope in the first place. Onto next year! Well done to all who got through.

Missed out too but not too worried about it. It was a good experience with the online assessments.
Good luck to everyone who was successful.

Passed . Delighted . Not sure if my merit will be high enough for Dublin . Will see after short listing . Seems demand led

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2 amfioksus

Yes, Dublin here. Not sure what the order is. It's not very transparent. I wish I knew how things are scored. I felt the most positive about the situational one. Maybe I relaxed too much and didn't do it fast enough?

Passed, placed 388th on open stream order of merit. My first time applying so no idea w whether this is good or not!

    Very surprised to have passed.

800s for open and 500s for interdepartmental.

Can't see an interview in my future but a pass is good.

Passed. Total score around 1200+ and OOM in the low 100 in Dublin. I assume that's likely good enough?

Well done to everyone who passed. Hard luck to those who missed out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29 Lollyy

I passed too, OOM 20 but outside Dublin. Next stage will be shortlisting based on the forms submitted, it is a long road ahead! Congrats to all who got through.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 190 ✭✭Juggler101

Wow, must have been a lot of people going for this, my OOM is so high LOL 🙈

I'm in the 1800's as it stands. I thought I did okay on the two tests that are taken into account. Maybe the time element was what failed me?!

As usual, I did best on numerical, but that isn't used for OOM :-/

They tend to call a few batches, so I would imagine you would get shortlisted in either batch 2 or 3

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1 Mitch Watkins

1,150 in the order of merit. Reckon I've any hope of the next stage with that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8 Taes

Yes I'm outside Dublin and passed too. Hopefully there is some hope for us 🙏

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29 Lollyy

The OOM awarded at this stage will change once the shortlisting is done. It can go up or down depending on how the mark the application forms. It really isn't an indication of getting any further at this stage because the two scores will be combined. Obviously the lower the OOM the better but it can change a lot at the next stage. Fingers cross again everyone!

    Hi All

This is my first time doing these exams so I passed but when I go to place it says open N/A and then Interdepartmental 1204. Why do I not have two numbers? Also once they go over the applications and if you move to the next round do you get assigned a new number?

    Thanks a million
