Home Price to income Ratio, the zillow home price index was divided by the household income in each county (ZHVI/HI). Some low population counties have no home price, they have no ratio value or it is equal to 0, these areas have the brightest green. Highest: Nantucket County, MA. Pitkin County, CO (Aspen). New York, NY. Teton County, WY (adj Yellowstone)

Median age is the age at which 50% pop is older & 50% younger. The U.S. median age is 39. Every year the country gets older by 0.2 years. The oldest state by population age is Maine with a median age of 45. Utah is the youngest state by age.

In an Irish context I thought breathnanch referred to Wales specifically. Hence Breathnach being the gaelic for Walsh.

Breathnach is Welsh alright (and Walsh is often pronounced "Welsh") - but an Bhreatain Bheag is Wales.

An Bhreatain Mhór is Great Britain. (Which is English is "Great" to distinguish it from Little Britain, which is Brittany in France)

Can be due to terrain. Norway right beside there has an even lower average speed due to having to weave though mountain ranges. Finland is choc full of lakes and other obstacles to get around.

Another source says it is the average for the 5 busiest routes in each country. The 2019 date would put it before the Ukraine war.

The railway line from Petersburg to Moscow was straight apart from one area. Some blame Nicholas I being frustrated so at the arguing about the best route that he intervened.

Legend has it that Emperor Nicholas I of Russia was such a vicious control freak that even the construction of the railroad had to be supervised by him. When planning the first major Russian railroad from Moscow to St. Petersburg, the Emperor himself drew the line on the map using a ruler.

At some point, the pencil stumbled across the finger that he was holding the ruler with, and the pencil made a curve on the map. In fear of the emperor’s fury, the officials preserved the curve and laid the railroad tracks precisely along the line left by Nicholas.

A later variation on that story, as seen in post # 8834.

"The Lithuania-Belarus border apparently reflects that Stalin left his pipe on the table and nobody had the courage to ask him to lift it."

I think grey squirrels are declining rapidly. I'm not sure if its due to inbreeding or pinemartins or both.
