    hi all


    anyone using the Facebook Portal 10 in device. ??

    I use for Spotify, Photos and playing Radio stations on Tune In radio. It seems that it will be decommisssioned in Jan 2025 and looks like Alexa will also be withdrawn. So in effect … it gonna be useless


    so …. Any recommendations for a replacement???? What do ye use foe showing Photos and playing Spotify (to a decent quality) etc ?? As it looks like I will have to invest

    Ah no. They're fantastic.

    My 93 year old father uses one every day to chat, remember things for him and as a radio.
    Really helps as the camera zooms and follows his face if he's not sitting in front of it.
    Works with WhatsApp video calls as well as Facebook messenger.
    We got a few when they came out including the bar for the top of the TV.

    Echo show is probably the closest or a pixel tablet with a dock.

    Was called to my 93 YO relative's house today to try and fix her portal. Voice commands, which were working yesterday, are not working today

    Any ideas?
