Here she is singing an original song: -

They should have just went with music for the entire show.

I'd expect we will also get a visit from the BT Young Scientist winner.

    Evening all 😊

    Time for a hooli.

    Am I saying that right…'hooli'?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,727 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

Off the drink - and on a Fentimans for the evening - so even less funny than me not being funny.

Jaysus - opening mono - still a bit ****. Even if that was a tad bit better written.

I know you can make money in this industry - but looking at all these people who are trying to make a full time living in the game.

I'd imagine this is more love than money in reality - even lads like Mundy who have had a reasonable Irish level career.

    Oh god…guy wearing the novelty Wu-Tang t-shirt.

Puts me in mind of those 'Adihash' t-shirts you'd see in Magaluf circa 1997.

Is this another cuntry special ?

'The Voyage' does have great lyrics.

    RIP Johnny.

I prefer the trad to the sessions where you have to stay quiet constantly that wrecks my head. Show is no harm tonight we need to blow off the January blues. Bit of noise no harm for that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 76,170 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

Nobody making the obvious snow/Gerry Ryan jokes?

    WAKE UP, PEOPLE!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,727 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

I love this kind of stuff myself - did become aware over the last few years - that a sizeable amount of people really hate any sort of Irish music at all - makes them very angry if they see it in a pub

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 736 ✭✭✭Wishox

The black one in the red dress swinging the eggs looks really into it lol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,727 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

Jaysus - she is so happy to be engaged - goes to show, the old ring still has a place in a modern Ireland.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 437 ✭✭Hold My Hand

    Caledonia …

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 76,170 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

Wouldn't mind a night of this in a pub myself. 🙂

From a non-Irish point of view, it seems this music is only put on in some places just to please (mostly American) tourists (the Mulligan Hotel by the Liffey, for example). Would quite happily spent all night there if the vibes are good…then head to Bruxelles for some metal 😁

Is it just me - or should the vocal sound be pushed up a bit audio wise ?

Must be very hard to mix that many people right - maybe this is just too many people for it to work

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 76,170 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

Aoife's just happy not to be singing 'The Wild Atlantic Way'.

Late to the party, was Sean Keane on yet?
