    hi guys

Im looking to dispose of old suitcases, I see that https://www.limerickrecyclingcentres.ie does not accept suitcases and that instead you need to bring them somewhere past Akeaton and out to Shanagolden, which is a long way out for me....is there anybody/anywhere else closer to Limerick that you can use to get rid of old suitcases?

If they are usable a charity shop might take them.

Even if not in great shape they are handy for storing items in the attic so you might not need to dispose after all.

Could be worth ringing recycle right and see if they take it in their new centre in Galvone? https://recycleright.ie/page/recycling-centre

If they're salvageable, could be worth putting them on adverts for nothing either, someone might repair them.

Greenstar on the Dock Road has (or had) a weighing station for rubbish, ie you drive your car/van/truck onto a scales before and after the dumping (iirc) and they'll charge you the appropriate fee. It wasn't overly expensive. Might be worth giving them a call and see if they take them?

Saw them in half or quarter and put them in your rubbish.

I would hope that nearly 4 years later they've found a solution
