Fair city and EastEnders followed up by MBB, just woeful public service broadcasting for Christmas.

    🙈🙉🙊

My theory is EastEnders is like a government employment scheme once you join the cast you can never leave it .

That must be Nigel with the brie...

'just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in'

It is the worst soap for constantly bringing back old characters even if they have been out of it for years. Isn't Ian Beale back again? I remember him in the jungle saying that he was finished with that chapter of his life, it was going to be theatre work from now on.

BBC output was very lacklustre this year. It all went downhill after Wallace and Gromit.

They like to bring characters back from the dead also. Dirty Den, Cathy, Cindy and Nick Cotton are four characters who have been raised from the dead in recent years. All four apparently “faked” their deaths in the storylines.

"Paths to Freedom" was the best comedy TV ever produced in this country in my opinion.

Tried the 2 Johnnies and cant get into it. I find it very predictable.

MBB is not only shite , but very embarrassing as its shown outside this country. It's obviously popular in the UK with an older audience , and let's be honest, this is the generation that makes up the biggest viewing figures. I actually thought that it was finished a few years ago and any time I saw it advertised I presumed they were just repeats.

Never heard of the other Hog lads untill this thread. I'll be sure to check them out and come back with my perfect high brow smug superior judgemental decision on their comedy efforts.

I liked the original YO movie and some of first episodes but then it just descended into utter codwallopery and woke shite not sure what the bbc where trying to do with it but it has a real bang of MBB off it now…shame could have been great.

Agreed, after the first series it got ridiculous. Haven't watched it since. Just got too over the top and stupid.

Paths to Freedom was brilliant. I’ve a friend who is exactly like a Limerick version of Rats.
