Timex.. Boxing clever?

Have to say that Timex are putting out some good looking watches lately. Albeit it most are quartz.

Had their Pan Am and it was lovely.

The latest diver is nice.. with a GMT for €249 is not too shabby. (They have automatic for €349)

They have a new Expedition Field aswell..

For not much money, not bad watches

I got a very nice Timex for my 21st. It developed a fault and was told because they weren't making them any more, they could not replace it.

Not, we can't replace it for the same one, here is a similar one. It was just that. Tough $hit.

Ive been dubious about them since.

They seem to be doing some very interesting things recently. I think they will get a lot of people starting out on the watch collecting journey. I know I'd have loved to have some nice looking options like these when I was first or second watch.

They do have some nice pieces for the money but I'd find it hard not just go for a Seiko over one at the same price points.

New Expedition Titanium is nice but don't think I could spend that money on a timex, maybe if a 40% offer is on!

Some lovely looking watches above - I always had Timex as a cheaper version of Seiko in my mind. I’d certainly buy either though over a Tissot - I thought in pictures Tissot looked great but when I tried them on, they felt very cheap (and they weren’t at all cheap)

I'd have to agree, not good value there for the spec and a poor move for timex in what otherwise is a strong showing of late imo. Also the S2Ti appears to commit the sin of omitting all but indice minute/second markers.
