A bunch of vinegar faced nuns being remembered now, the circle of Joe completed.

A thing isn't what it says it is.

A thing is what it does.

The failure of Duffy's outrage machine about some nuns being called vinegar faced and gossipy by the pope was THE highlight of a rubbish 75 minutes.

A thing isn't what it says it is.

A thing is what it does.

I was thinking the same - wondering if it was "Self-published bukes", part 2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,426 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

The point is they should be forgotten or remembered equally.

Joe will love this. Ryanair Undertakers, so to speak.

My guess is the plane crash 73 years ago will take up the majority of today's slop.

    Codeine additions?

So adding two pills to my hot whiskey is a bad idea then?

This comes as news to me.

Joe won't be able to resist 23 deaths, no matter when they happened.

The deaths happened on the 10 of January, so Joe is starting early to line up cawlurs who still remember the event....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,426 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Joe loves remembering and commemorating death. What proportion of Ireland's current population was alive back then(75 years ago)? And, what proportion of them cared back then(never mind now)? If they were a child or teenager, this topic would have likely soared over their heads. ✈️

But, hey, this is what the today's taxpayers and listeners must endure, because Joe dictates so.

An addition to their other addictions. Used to help deliver meals on wheels years ago. One auld wan was addicted to de codeine, de smokes and de booze. She was barred from de local chemist's, so to speak. Used to ask anyone who would listen to her, to buy a couple of cough bottles.
