I'm back and forth with them by email trying to cancel after the initial year. I'm refusing to call them. I removed the payment method anyway before it renewed.

You have to wait 6 months before cancelling he very expensive continuance option by phone. They’ll offer you an extension for the same rate but if you really want to cancel there’s no problem. You just have to remember to call within the 6 months and there’s banking on most people forgetting to do so.

I can't even find Irish content anymore (using website). Do I need to use the app?

My sub ended today and I was able to resub via Google Play with same email etc for EUR 5.

I only ever read it on the app and I've only ever seen an Ireland section on Sunday.

Seems like the only way to access the Irish Sunday Times is via app or e-paper.

Sunday times have a sponsored ad on Facebook €5 for 12 months, but when you go in to sign up it is it shows up at £1 for 3 months and then £30 per month.

I phoned them up and got 12 months for €5.

That's interesting.

My €5 a year deal expired last week and I forgot to ring them.

Got charged €10 for the following month and rang them to cancel it.

After a lot of discussion, they said the best they could do was €2.50 a month.

Will cancel and sign up in another name if it's the €5 a year deal.

Whatever little Irish content there was - by end of year I could find none at all.
Mostly London news as far as I could see - told them so when I unsubscribed.

It's worth a fiver for the sport. And to read the loons in the comments sections.

How do you subscribe in playstore for this deal. It's coming up as different pricing for me there.
