    I'm not surprised.

'Operation Transformation' is perfect fodder to continue dole out in the eyes of Montrosia to the little people.

Remember the national broadcaster does'nt care in the slightest for the stats from the BBC or others.

Is the ‘new season’ of The Young Offenders the season that the BBC has already broadcast and which is already available to watch on RTE Player?

Sounds like only 4 episodes of Room to Improve. Is that a ‘season’ now? Or will they pad out 4 builds into 8 episodes?

Will never understand the appeal of The Young Offenders. Its just not funny. It was turned off in our house over Christmas, as everyone from 9 to 90 thought it was shockingly poor. Maybe its a Cark thing.

Room To Improve has had its day too imo. Same stuff, same situations and Dermot Bannon identi-designs over so many years just gets really repetitive.

Yes, as part of their "new direction" the broadcast of new episodes were postponed, I imagine after their bail out that decision was reversed but too late for the advertisers on Broadcast TV.

RTÉ's idea is if you produced something one year but air it the next its part of the next years budget! They did this with Amber a few years ago… at least Amber was largely funded by RTÉ so they might have "saved" something with this type of jiggery pokerary … but a BBC series that is largely bought in by RTÉ!

    ______

In the end they were just greedy, they all knew one another and knew what to expect more money for no return, it was a secure cash flow, but in fairness they looked for what they wanted and fair dues to them for that, and wouldn't you be doing the same!

Just one more thing .... when did they return that car

I am guessing late 2025 for The Traitors Ireland to air as no news on filming starting

They've really given up on RTÉ2, they've moved the new season of Yellowstone to RTÉ ONE.

A bit stupid for RTE to show the Christmas Special of Young Offenders on TV in a prime slot before season 4 has been shown on TV.

There is a pretty major continuity issue with showing the Christmas Special out of sequence, but why would RTE care about that? 🤔

It's RTÉ. Have you seen what they just did in the recent past.
