6,181 kWh for the year, down again on the last 2 years (about 200 kWh) some good news in that my overall house consumption was down about 1000 kWh from last year, but I thnk that might have been the mild weather in November and the heat pump coming on a few weeks later than normal but who knows

South facing 4.83kWp system, Dublin Fingal, 2024 Calendar Year

4.405MWh Generated (4.47MWh estimated by PVGIS SARAH2 estimate)

2.078MWh Exported (Moved from deemed export to metered export so wasn't as bothered about self-consumption)

5.039MWh Imported (Moved to EV tariff during 2024. 99.4% night rate in old money. Need to check HDF file for EV percentage. Charged 10kWh battery every day.)

4.596MWh Natural Gas used (Increase accounted for by a) No diverted solar surplus into electric radiators, and b) In order to get a better sense of the house's heat loss behaviour, we let Home Assistant manage the thermostats to keep the downstairs between 19.5°C and 20°C)

    9kwp E/W (slightly south of E and slightly north of W) - 22 panels ,12 E & 10 W , coastal Northeast. System was installed late Feb 23.

Results for 2024 are : total generated 7.48MWh of which 4.28MWh or 57% was exported generating c.€1k in revenue. 2023 figures (10 months from very end of Feb) were 7.42MWh of which 3.62MWh or 49% was exported. So after nearly 2 years I'm on course to reach payback in a little under 5 years although the likely upcoming reductions in FIT will probably push that out.

Lest anyone thinks our bills are half nothing our annual consumption is the wrong side of 20 and our winter bills remain high.

7.79kWh south facing array, co. waterford

no battery, no ev, all electric bungalow (2,100sq ft)

6,002kWh generated since install on 27th January 2024, of which 4,535kWh was exported.

Ignore January consumption. We had moved into the house a week before Christmas 2023 and had yet to insulate between the joists. The HP was working flat out to dry house out and to try and keep it at a comfortable temperature. Assuming insulation was in place in January 2024 then it would have had similar figures to December 2024. consumption would have been ~3,800kWh for the year was it not for bizarrely high figure in January.

FIT kicked in on 21st February 2024, 45 weeks of export.

Come 21st February 2025 I forecast the annual bill taking account of standing charges but excl. Government handouts to be less than €50.

2.5kW in Dublin 12, due south

2,452kWh generated, worst year since install in late 2020.

I've likely passed break even already, install cost 2400e paid monthly over 10 years.

9087kWh generated in 2024 (down from 9373 in 2023). Consumption was 40% and export was 60%.

    10.4kwp in South Dublin.
