If so, then you can access the bank account on the smartphone.

It would depend on the person's life style and how much they are willing to pay for the inconvenience.

If you have a smartphone, yes. AIBs app is apparently the best of the Irish retail banks.

Yeah I guess thats the nub of it all right, I have pc and smart phone but if I wanted to keep things simple I would still need a current account in order to get a debit card as there is no other way and my win10 needs upgrading to win11 and I am confident of making a liathróidí of that.😄

I think I*ll soldier on, not worth rocken the boat at this stage, was just a wild thought,

You really don't need to worry about the Windows 11.

Just make an appointment at your AIB branch and they'll do the business for you.

You can run it all on the phone.
