Can I get a refund on private prescription I have a medical card

    Today I had to go to Laya clinic (private) as I'm very sick , got a prescription, it cost me 70e in the chemist to get the prescription filled , I need the meds straight away as I feel terrible but I can't afford the 70e. I have a medical card but If I sent the prescription from Laya to my GP to turn into a medical card prescription I would have had to wait days to start taking the meds. Is there anything I can do now to get my money back

    Once your GP sends a medical card script the pharmacy will refund you less the medical card fee.

    This will take a few days but you will get it
