Hi 247music, which vpn did you use?. I've tried Keepsolid and Tunnelbear VPNs , but I'm getting the message "We Couldn't Verify Your Country" for Peru and other cheap countries. Cheapest i can get to the subscribe option is Poland at €11. Thanks

Tunnelbear worked for me, free version. I changed to oeru

I get that a lot but it seems to work when I'm trying to renew my cancelled subscription. I use tunnelbear on Android phone.

Neither. I cancelled my subscription so got the email with the "renew" button

With VPN on, clicked on button which opened chrome and then auto opened sub page on YT app.

I get the "not in this country" lark if I try googling YT premium

Try it later, I find they change their IP addresses.

Having got the dreaded cancellation message, Payment was due out today for Argentina and about about an hour ago on the TV noticed my first ads, checked Revolut no payment taken went up on PC turned on my VPN Windscribe set server to Warsaw, googled a random address and used my revolt card and payment went through for 11 euros and didn't have to mess with the existing family. Interesting to see how long this will last.

Can anyone who has been in this situation give me an idea of what to expect?

I have been in India for a few years, got the email ,eventually got it to accept a card (curve) after trying several.There's no message now apart from next payment due December 12.

Does the crowd think I'm in the clear or have people got this far and still been kicked off?

Before anyone says to read the thread, I have. I know the payment can be taken and could get booted a few days later. What I am trying to find out is whether or not the absence of a message to do anything on the app implies that from the YT side everything is rosy in the garden. Unfortunately I didn't note at the time whether the app was giving notice to fix or it was just the email.

About a hour ago I opened YouTube and seen cabury santa advert banner, then played a video and got adverts

Tried Nord VPN too Moldova and didn't get video adverts, then Moldova adverts started

Looking like smart tube on my firestick, it's even meant to skip the product placement adverts that YouTubers put in now

South Africa and Vietnam both require a payment method issued in that country. Peru and Chile are worth a shot though.

I wonder why peru doesn't have the rule, is their banking system such that many people have "foreign" cards?

Did the same, although I did get Revolut to work. It took me a good few attempts to make it work because the payment confirmation page would close during authentication. Whenever it asked you to confirm the charge in Revolut the webpage would close. Switched browsers and that worked eventually.
