BP loss not a bad result down there but awful performance.

Fitting end to a dreadful performance

why not give it to scannell ffs? he has (or at least had anyway) a monster boot and has won games in this situation in the past

That was awful. Crowley not doing himself any favours in the battle for the green 10 jersey

Castres had three YC. Munster still couldn't beat them. It's a terrible result.

That kick was a microcosm of Munster's and Crowley's performance tonight. All effort and intent but no accuracy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 5,682 ✭✭✭budhabob

Well that was really poor performance, disjointed, inaccurate, and some fairly significant individual errors

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 835 ✭✭✭rodders999

First minute of the game Crowley missed touch from a penalty and he does the same thing in the last minute. Unforgivable.

Shocking performance. Average players Average coaches.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,946 ✭✭✭Pepp1989

Munster should have lost by 20 plus. Absolute horrendous performance. Started with a missed tackle and finished with another error.

Two very poor teams tbh. Loads of injuries. Loads of errors. Terrible terrible night.

Bad night for the coaches too. Killer shouldn't have been there. Ryan carrying water. Very very costly.

Yeah the BP is objectively an OK outcome from a visit to Castres. Let’s not dwell on the rest.

That's a really disappointing loss against a team that played with 14 men for 50mins and had no reliable kicker. Missed opportunity, but a poor performance overall.

Awful performance, yet still a game left behind. Castres are a poor team, but Munster were worse tonight.

Wwhat was the final penalty count for Munster? Must have been 15/16 - haunted not to have received at least one yellow.

17 pens each. None of Munsters were in the red zone though.

Couldn't care less about the green 10. He needs to be doing far far better for Munster.

    Crowley morphing into Carbery.

Haley might be a better 15 than Daly now but the whole Munster attack works so much better with Daly at fullback.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,727 ✭✭✭hawley

Would rather Daly at FB over Haley. Thought that he had a nightmare performance.

    Communication was the greatest fatality

3 or 4 of the 17 penalties were for foul play

There was Numerous in the scrum.

    Poor basics

    Forward passes galore

    Lineout wasn't great

    Players running sideways a lot

And I reckon Casey is done for the season. When a player pulls up like he did its usually not good. Hopefully not though

Wow, awful. That was so bad against a limited team. And Crowley, just unacceptable. Awful all game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,288 ✭✭✭✭mahoney_j

afull stuff ….played like a pub team …team selection was wrong too ….Crowley playing like a fella under huge pressure and not coping …coaching team have to take blame here too ….killer wasn’t ready for tonight either …..sad how far we e slipped

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 13,651 Mod ✭✭✭✭Cookiemunster

WTF? The loss had nothing to do with Haley. One of the few Munster players to make ground with the ball in hand.

It didn't matter who played FB tonight. When your 10 has as bad a game as Crowley had tonight the backline isn't going to play well.
