still on the hunt for a swap, have two standing Saturday tickets and desperately looking for two Friday tickets! Unfortunately not on Toutless and registration takes 2 weeks seemingly so can’t get access. Any swaps or even Toutless advice extremely welcome. Cheers

Yeah enjoyed that. Lots from Dogrel, A Heroes Death & Skinty Fia. Very much a younger crowd from when I first saw them but a nice crowd. Mosh circles started forming in front of me towards the end which was all good natured. They already have a back catalog.

A privilege to see a home grown band at the peak of their powers. Loved it and can't wait to see them again at ATN.

Absolutely loved that gig, all of the new songs sounded great live. Agree with above, definitely a younger crowd tonight than I’ve seen at previous Fontaines gigs but no trouble and everyone just having a great time.
Any standing ticket going for tomorrow night I’ll happily take it!

Yeah we were at the back to the right of you dasdog and a fair crowd moshin but all very nice .Our group would be mixed ages , old to young .

I just can't get over how good they are and relatively young .

    World class.

A few playing the week after next with the Pogues again 3 Arena so looking forward to seeing them again already .

That's going to be the last gig of the year for me and I'm already looking forward to it. Tom Coll who was on percussion tonight will be playing drums for Spyders Red Roses For Me anniversary. I actually can't wait the lineup is so good.

Don't know how I managed to escape without a broken rib (lost count of how many times I was crushed against the barrier). 💥 What a night!

Serious contender for gig of the year.

Wow. They are a different beast now. From the curtain drop to Starburster! Great crowd. Boys in the better land is still such a blast! ATN can’t come fast enough.

Listening to Chaos For The Fly now to try and settle me down…it’s going to be hard to sleep.

Sorry? were great too, right down my street.

Agree with everything posted above. These boys have taken it to a different level. Everything sounded awesome tonight. Totally in control. I used to think he was just chancing his arm on the vocals but man, he's really grown into his voice. Vocals perfect. They used to rush through everything but paced it perfectly tonight, gave the songs the chance to speak for themselves, gave you the chance to hear and savour the lyrics. I love you is one of the all time great Irish rock songs and was absolutely epic tonight. As said, loads of youngsters there, belting out every word, brilliant to see. We've been crying out for an Irish band that people can get behind like this for years. As good as anything out there. Masterful stuff.

I’m sorry (intentional pun) I bloody missed them! Would love to have heard Cigarette Package and As The Sets live.

We're they handing out balaclavas last night?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39 slideaway

Thought it was very good, the production was very good and they are excellent but didn't feel the atmosphere was great.... Seemed like they were having tech issues the gap between some songs was ridiculous, losing momentum.

Not to sound like a downer it was a still a great gig

They’re always having tech issues tbh.

They also skipped Liberty Belle which was on the setlist (after I Love You)
