Opel mokka electric window problem

Hello , any help please ?

23 1 Mokka petrol, rear passenger side electric window went down the whole way today and won’t go back up , all other windows working fine .

I have it parked up in the shelter from the rain , have to drive early in morning a good distance ,with the crap weather and the wind rattling through if I can’t get the window back up it will be a nightmare .

I havnt a clue about fuses / electrics

Any tips / advice ?

Have you tried holding the lock button on the key

Possible switch or the regulator is gone.

Just tried that , unfortunately no joy .

I seen on a Uk forum I could try disconnecting the battery , leaving it for a while , reconnect, then try again, worth a shot .

Not a kick out of either switches to get the window up , the switch on the passenger door and the switch which also controls it from the drivers panel .

good point that , I bought a demo model from opel , must check what cover I got with that .

Probably 2 years plus possibly 1 year extended warranty.

Registered 231 - warranty out in 251 - but thats from January to June!!!PM me the reg and I can check it for you.

no luck getting the window up , monsoon weather expected on Friday and I’ve to do a bit of driving on Saturday too .

Anyone reckon any Opel garage would help a fella in trouble at short notice . I’m in Drogheda .

I had a few Renaults that had that problem and turned out to be the regulator each time. Dealer did it under warranty until that ran out and after that I used a local Autoelectrician who made up his own regulator as he saw so many Renaults failures. Never had a problem with the homemade ones. No idea if Opel have a similar issue but worth researching.

I thought the " electric window fairy " might fix it over night, but not a budge still from either switches to get the window up , can hear the clicking of the switch but not a budge.

Panic kicking in as i have driving to do today/ tomorrow which cant be avoided .

Will see what any of the Opel garages/customer service say at 9am when they open.

Ring garage where you bought it ,book it in for repair .Explain to them you need a replacement car asap .

My local Opel dealer gave great help and customer service on Friday, they took the car in at 3pm despite being booked out for the day.

Switch needs placing, they have to order the part, they secured the window up for me in the meantime.
