UK service like AddressPal that consolidates items?

Mailboxde.com in Germany will consolidate your items into one package so that you just pay a single delivery fee for multiple items.

Is there anything like this in the UK?

I haven't used their consolidation service but I used them once a few years ago for forwarding from the UK and had no issues.

There has been since 2020. I used them in 2021.

There was no need to before Brexit as we had Parcel Motel.

The customs rules came in on January 1st 2021.

If you used the service after Jan 1st 2021, they would have had to do a customs declaration unless they sent it via Northern Ireland and avoided a customs entry. My guess you used them in 2020

Parcel Motel ceased allowing forwarding from their NI address to local lockers at the end of 2020.

Goods bought in the UK for the Rep of Ireland must be customs cleared if going via N Ireland.

Goods bought in N Ireland for the RoI are fine and do not need to be cleared.

Parcel lockers in NI would seem to be placing the onus on the buyer, as they only bring it as far as NI. It is up to the buyer to declare it, whether personal or not.

I was mistaken about 2020 but I checked my emails, it was June 2021.

That was when most packages weren't inspected by customs.
