If you can afford it and you like the idea of it?!?! Why not?

Just look at the photos of bad jobs from yesteryear.

Take note, there's no photos on this thread of really really good hair transplants carried out. Says it all really.

I’ve a friend that I had not seen for in 10 years. He always had a thick head of hair that almost looked like a wig (Rick Astley) and when I caught up with him it looked the same.

he told me that just before Covid he went to Turkey and got a hair transplant. I would not have known, had he not told me.

he has said he had got to the stage of not wanting to go out over his hair.

If it’s bothering you, go for it.

It will do wonders for your job at the power plant.

Do not stress/worry about a thing. Would a hair transplant make you a happier person? If so, you do it!!!

Over 2 years later they've probably made a decision one way or the other by now.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

it really depends on the size of your head/forehead and facial aesthetics. You can either look good or look like a spud.

It depends on how it affects you I guess. If it would make you happier than I'd say go for it.

In my opinion it depends on your age. If you're middle aged and balding I'd say just accept it, you're not getting better looking going forward.

I know 4 lads that got it done is turkey. All in cost about 5-6k Inc flights and hotels. All of the jobs were top quality looking.

One of them was slowly balding but was quite apparent it was receding. The other was quickly balding and very noticeable. Both jobs turned out great but the lad who was quickly balding, his non-translated 'origional' hair continues to fall out at the top of his head because he's not taking any hairloss medication to stop it.

So it's a myth to say that it'll all fall out unless you take medication. The transplanted hair will remain but the original hair will continue to fall out.

I say if balding negatively effects you regardless of your age, you should do it. All of the lads had great boosts in their confidence and self-esteem.

They all said they'd do it again and said that the cost was nothing given the positive impact it has on their lives.
