Thought the SJT were extremely tough too.. hated the format of having to rate each scenario

I know, I feel the same. I hope they change it next time because this crowd is crazy, especially with the numerical test. If only we could see the whole test at once instead of having to scroll from one side to the other… 🫣

So when do we get results I don’t think it’s in the form but for others that done these before was it a long wait I want to know so I can stop thinking about it 😜

My guess is that it will be early January at this stage. They have to check and recheck the results before they are issued.

I also found that the more practice I did the more I became afraid to make even the most minor inference so my scores didn't improve 😆

Yes, the highly appropriate option is the last one, as opposed to using ‘best’ and ‘worst.’ I realize I may have misunderstood the first two questions, thinking the order was from appropriate to inappropriate. I was also conscious of the time and tried to keep my responses brief.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1 BW2024

That order seems counter intuitive to the instructions down the left hand side. Must be loads of others who made that mistake. Just goes to show how these things are designed- must view the full screen unfortunately.

I personally think highly inappropriate to highly appropriate (left to right) makes the most sense.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17 DELLODUCKS

yes that made the most sense to me too. I did it in a large screen thank god because my practice was a small screen and so much harder to navigate!! I’m second guessing myself because I looked at me times earlier and for SJT I did it in less than 30mins 😭

Think I was panicking about the time!

ok thank you I can put it outta the head until the new year!

I found the numerical very challenging and i'm normally quite strong on that test. hoping to have scrapped the pass mark anyway. I also found that some of scenarios in the situational judgement would never happen. it's done now and its all down to the waiting game. best of luck everyone.

For people that have done it, how many question are in each of the three section? Thanks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22 the5th

Echoing everyone talking abut the maths. F*ck me that was the hardest I've ever done, and normally I do well at these. I'm not even sure that there wasn't a mistake in one of the questions I did, just couldn't get the answer. Oh well. Back to languishing where I am at the moment for another competition cycle….

maths and verbal 15 and SJT there were more but can’t remember to be honest - sorry 😢

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10 Sharon1972

I can’t remember but it took about 25 minutes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,636 ✭✭✭JeffKenna

If anyone can do all of those numerical questions in 15 minutes then they should just be given the job straight away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 175 ✭✭Stranger Things

won’t get the role so just flew through it. Managed to get the lot done in 25mins somehow.

Felt the verbal and SJT was not too bad. Thought AO was tougher.

Maths was tough and I’ll be lucky to pass that (did not use much rough work).

Will be surprised if I pass.

    Good luck everyone!

I've an hour blocked off in work today to do it. Do you think that will be enough ?

I found maths ok but took me 25 mins and I normally fly through maths. Found the verbal very hard and was continually 2nd guessing myself. Found SJ very hard. Think I've done poorly overall. Hey ho, done now.

Hi, can you tell me had you your laptop plugged in and using a 2nd screen which was larger. I've completed proctor exams before where you can only have 1 screen on so just wanted to check. Hoping to do exam tonight

100% there was a mistake in one question which left it impossible to answer it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 84 ✭✭Curranjo

did you do all three tests inside 25 minutes?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 84 ✭✭Curranjo

numerical was impossibly hard. took me 30 minutes to complete. Verbal and SJT ok and completed in 15 and 30 minutes. Best of luck everyone. Think in booklet, they said results out in Dec and next stage Jan, could be wrong though.

    HI everyone

I have just finished this. It took me 25 minutes to do the numerical. I take it there will be a heavy penalty for that and I found them difficult. The verbal I thought were ok and the sjt not too bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 57 ✭✭AdmiringWig

Those tests were ridiculous. The maths was impossible. Verbal wasn't great. And situational wasn't too bad. I've done a lot of tests over the years and those numerical questions were very difficult. Hopefully everyone finds it hard and it will lower the standard!

I've just finished, really struggled with the maths which has been my strong one up until now. Not holding my breath tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 175 ✭✭Stranger Things

All 3 not including the ID and room scans! Was short for time so just had a quick read of questions and went gut feeling with most!

    Not the ideal approach

Finished all three tests this morning.

    • Numerical: This would absolutely be my strength. Thought it was relatively straight forward. Unsure where people thought there was a mistake. I could generate their answers.
    • Verbal: I've got in my own head on these. Don't think I did well but impossible to tell. It was fine.
    • SJT: No idea. Found it hard to "rate" things but sure I'll see.
