This is def true after my experience the last while. Going to be a lot of single people around/ single parents around.

I'll add to my list by saying that Hinge is even worse. Incredibly boring people with outrageous wishlists.

Another one to avoid so. there is no compromise with some of them & their mad lists. They dont even give people a chance & complain then no one talks to them

There’s an active online dating thread in after hours. A few have had success in the past couple of months but most of us not. It can take forever or it can be quick, it’s the luck of being in the right place at the right time with somebody you are compatible with. The people you want to date are hard to get because let’s face it everybody else wants them too.

The desirables are unobtainable and the obtainables are undesirable :)

Generally true. BUT every now and then you can be lucky enough to catch a desirable when they are newly single

    I'm gone too cynical :)

Ya its a bit of both i noticed & its getting worse. they only last a few hrs on it & profile is gone deleted. So its more setting ur self up for disappointment than anything else. But some of the desirable ones complain about no genuine people talking to them but then they dont give people a chance either then when they do send genuine msgs, u could have read their profile and sent perfect msg asking about whats on their profile.

Do women get asked out much in real life these days or is it all online?

Only seeing this, now. Still both ways they are asked. But online is becoming a waste of time now days. Between fake a/c's, too high ambitions(thinking u are better than everyone else)& time wasters. You be pushed to find genuine people.

Online dating can feel a bit overwhelming, but it’s also a great way to meet people you might not cross paths with otherwise. The trick is to keep it simple and honest. Make your profile reflect who you are—add clear photos about what you enjoy and what you're looking for. When messaging, start with something personal from their profile instead of saying “hi.” It shows effort and helps kick off a conversation.
Also, don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t work immediately—it’s all about timing. Try to stay patient and keep it fun! If you're looking for a reliable platform, There was an error displaying this embed. is worth checking out.

    Not Your Ornery Onager

^ Don't click that link. Coming up as Unsafe

Edit: not a link, just contains 'unsafe:'. Maybe Vanilla copped it somehow?
