Why are they looking at that tackle and not the late one on predergast?

Finlay having the game from hell.

Amazing how they missed the shoulder charge on SP with this level of scrutiny.

lol that’s an awful decision given the late hits on Prendergast he’s let go

Going to be a very awkward camp when Farrell returns from the Lions after picking more English and Scottish than Irish.

Bealham off at HT for me, has done nothing positive. Only fumbling the ball and giving away silly penalties

He's 21 and will need time to adapt to International physicality. It was the same with Romain N'Tamack etc. You don't arrive fully developed in every area.

That's no different from the no arms hit on Prendergast earlier that was waved as play on.

Finlay having an awful day at the office at the coalface and in the loose

I am not seeing it. His line kicking has been good with some good distribution but his defense has not been great.

As the poster Fitz said, we look old and tired.

    Better from Bealham

Scrum has held up well considering Australia have been able to recall Tupou.

Another good touch finder from Prendergast

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,437 ✭✭✭testtech05

Prendergast touch kicking has been excellent but the lineout has been terrible

Sp is not being picked for his defence. Neither was OGara back in the day

POC, as usual, well be under fierce pressure after this game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,437 ✭✭✭testtech05

That play summed up the half

  • Site Banned Posts: 4,164 ✭✭✭Oíche Na Gaoithe Móire

That passage of play summed up our half.

The handling errors have pretty much killed us

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 596 ✭✭✭sliabh 1956

    That was a tough watch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,895 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Well that was all a bit crap really. This isn't a great Australia side

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,419 ✭✭✭ironingbored

What on earth POC & Goodman are bringing to the party is a mystery.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,421 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Handling is appalling. We'd be out of sight if we could actually keep possession beyond a few phases.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 27,622 ✭✭✭✭phog

That end to the first half probably sums up our game so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 597 ✭✭✭exiledawaynothere

if his defense is not a strength and they want him to play, then he needs a minder like Wallace was back in the day.

I’d say Finaly is delighted this is the last match of the series because the video room review of his performance this half would be a very uncomfortable one. He can’t be making this many mistakes in only 40 minutes.

Farrell needs to rip them a new a$$hole at half time.

That's a pretty disgraceful first half

Out line out is really gone to pot. We can't reliably secure our own throw. Can't hope to win without it.

Very few players are playing well. Bad handling all around.
