AC Coupled inverter or swap out?

I am looking into some battery solutions. I have a 6Kw inverter for the past few years but this isn't a hybrid. So, I can either think about adding an AC side inverted, beside my existing, or replacing with a new hybrid.

I am looking for battery size of over 10Kw

Has anyone any experience with AC coupled inverters? Any thoughts otherwise on if I should replace with a hybrid?

Also, how tricky is it to swap out my existing inverter for a hybrid (If I go that route)? I have decent experience so if it's its just a case of power down the old and connecting up the new I should be fine (once I figure out how to discharge the capacitors!).
