    Howdy,

I have a nice garden set that's grey but has seriously faded from Oxidation. Its faded and looks donkeys years old. Keep it covered in Winter but am shocked at how old it looks. Any hacks or products to bring it back to life or get rid of the white stuff on it?

    Thanks

If it is the coloured finish (probably powder coating) that has peeled due to corrosion and you want to renew the colour, you need to first prime the cleaned bare metal with zinc chromate primer. This is a yellow colour. Do not use red lead or phosphate type primers. When you have given the metal a couple of coats of primer, you can then apply the coloured finish.

It's called patina - don't touch it, in the fullness of time it will give your furniture a certain character

It's a six month old thread resurrected with AI nonsense.
