Ok but how many mislynches do we have left?

Say we lynch Oscar, leggy and trit. Does that bring mac to endgame?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,631 ✭✭✭wrestlemaniac

I think we certainly need to go back and look at the interactions and posting times of Lord and Strawbs and check off Mac and trit.

10 voter last night so assuming three wolves (better only be three at this stage)

    9v1

    8v1 post munch

    7v1 mislynch

    6v1 munch

    5v1 mislynch

    4v1 post munch

    3v1 mislynch

    2v1 post munch

So three mislynches available think (someone else please verify the above)

I maybe don't read game like you or others do so I could be reading how it works wrong I don't know.

Someone had thrown up yesterday that they weren't surprised Necro getting munched because they one of the players that didn't look like they were getting lynched and they were actively working stuff out.

Based on that I was active in the thread a good bit last night and was pushing hard on tsc to help us. That's all it as based on.

Good explanations in my opinion. The thing if putting yourself up for lynch just doesn't sit rite with me. It makes me want to dismiss you you as wolf when you're not my number one but then that's what a wolf would want...... My brain it's too early for this

I think if Oscar or leggy is last remaining wolf they have nothing too lose by making declarations like this. Much like lord last night he knew is faith was coming.. With these two the heat is on one or the other and are massively outnumbered by village so anything at all to help it make us doubt...

Out of both if them Oscar is most village and his post this morning does more to ease my feelings than anything from leggy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭lorcand1990

Yeah I know, that's why I said leggy is self resolving. So by their own admission we lynch Oscar and if they are village leggy falls on their sword

I'm not delighted with Oscar as a lock lynch today but if most others are, then she's right that we should get rid of her so we can focus on what's left (is that a wolf play to get me thinking like that?). I never had her as wolf and I'd still have Leggy as wolf before her; I'd also have Yoss and maybe Trit as wolf before her. That said, I need to go back and review all mentions of Lordy to see who did or didn't interact with him, not sure I'll get that done before munch but I'll try to

At the moment for me, in order of most to least likely wolf, it's

    Jayo

    G&R

    WM

    Lorc

    Oscar

    Trit

    Yoss

    Leggy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭MacDanger

That should say "in order of least to most likely wolf"

As an aside, can we do FFAs today, only a couple of people did one yesterday and IMO it's a wolf move to dodge doing an FFA

why jayo most likely and how do you manage to be inconsistent within a single post?

also, explain how Yoss is wolfy to you, with as much detail as you can please

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭MacDanger

What's the inconistency? If it's the most/least, then I've already corrected that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,793 ✭✭✭tritium

so here’s my thinking early morning

assuming one wolf remaining, the options are Oscar leggy or an other

Oscar: some of their theories yesterday were really out there tbh. That said if they’re a wolf then (I) they’ve been busses to death from day 1 and (I) they went all out yesterday to save a wolf who was almost certain to be lynched and hence would implicate them . Thats either an ultra ballsy or a foolish wolf game there. Would they try that given the alternative is probably lone wolf against a pile of villagers with some relatively locked in? I’m unsure

    Will look at leggy next

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭MacDanger

As regards Yoss, it's the fake vote play - it's just looks completely off to me; I understand how it can be explained in retrospect as a good play but if you're village and don't know anyone's alignment, then it's a massively risky play; on the other hand, if you already know everyone's alignment, then it's a play you can think out beforehand and be sure of. You even said it yourself in your post just before lynch was announced:

When I flip village folks, and I will, pay attention to how that wagon was formed tonight. Watch how it casually went from 1 vote to a wagon. Also pay attention to who wouldn’t partake and work out why

I understand that most people much prefer Oscar as a wolf over Yoss but for me, that fake vote is a big red flag that i can't ignore

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,793 ✭✭✭tritium

was typing while you were correcting

    Thinking on Yoss please?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,793 ✭✭✭tritium

it is risky but I also think it’s resolution means Yoss realistically can’t be a wolf

Let’s assume three wolves still. That means if Yoss is wolf I’m by definition village for this exercise

say Yoss IS a wolf. Yoss then forces ANOTHER wolf to vote on me AND sacrifices a third wolf with that action. It would mean bussing your whole team in one go, when it was possible to simply take a comfortable village lynch. Not impossible but my god how would you even coordinate that move?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,613 ✭✭✭OscarMIlde

Can be resolved by determining my alignment, at least if three wolf team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭lorcand1990

I know its not directed to me but thanks for that explanation, I'm trying to piece together d2 vote with yourself, yoss and Green and red in my head

Do you have any thoughts on Green and red in all that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭MacDanger

Yoss's vote though had no impact on the resolution - I think you're dismissing that move because the lynch worked out well for us but in reality, the fake vote didn't contribute to that.

Let's hypothesise that G&R switches to Oscar instead (and let's say Oscar is village), do you still consider Yoss's fake vote a village play?

Actually, now that I think about it, I need to look back and work out why Lordy didn't switch votes to Oscar that night - FFS, is Oscar a bloody wolf too? My f*cking head is melted!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭lorcand1990

Yoss fake vote made lord think trit had 3 votes, so lord adding to that would make 4 and would lynch trit over Oscar and strawbs. Alongside that green and red voted strawbs so she ended up lynched

That was my reading of it anyway but happy to be corrected.

g&R switches to kill a wolf without knowing what’s coming in terms of Yoss and Lord. It’s possible I guess that they’re bussing strawbs all along and moves from me for distance. But does it make sense for Lord to then switch to me with that late vote? Not sure it does- basically that play would be to have an inconspicuous last vote to lynch me, consciously remove it and then go back with a suspicious late vote. Doesn’t seem a sensible strategy, or one that particularly easy to coordinate

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,793 ✭✭✭tritium

If Oscar is village the risk fails and Yoss has a lot of explaining to do. But the late vote from Lord still will get attention. Yoss said he wanted to get things moving and he certainly did that

re why not Lord on Oscar, thats a key question. If Oscar village I could see them keeping her around for more uncertainty. If Oscar wolf I could them keeping her around in favour of lynching a villager

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭MacDanger

Yeah, I know how it worked out but consider if you're Yoss and you're making that decison without knowing anyone's alignment and without knowing that G&R is going to switch to a wolf - looking at it from that angle and with all the uncertainty that's contained there makes it more of a wolf play than a village play IMO.

That said, there's only one wolf left so everyone can't be wolves 🤣

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,613 ✭✭✭OscarMIlde

Exactly. Assuming 3 wolf game. If I am wolf that was only move to save Srawbs and I. Assuming I am village miscalculation on Lords part.

Reasoning may not hold with four wolf game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭MacDanger

Actually, the more I think about it, the more Oscar has to be a wolf - hard to see any other explanation now for Lordy's late vote

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭lorcand1990

Ah ok so if Oscar flips village, yoss probably village falls apart in your view?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,793 ✭✭✭tritium

way I see it, bearing in mind I know I’m village, I’d say Yoss, Jayo and myself are locked in for me

Oscar and Leggy are the ones on the naughty step currently and will get most discussion from me

macDanger is someone who has been under my radar. Anyone care to make a case there?

Lorcan still feels village to me, but I’m not sure mechanically I can say that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭lorcand1990

Make a case for mac being village?

Nah they would be next on my list after Oscar and Leggy. As I said I'm not convinced we'll get a wolf in Oscar or leggy but it probably needs to be cleared up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,613 ✭✭✭OscarMIlde

Which is why I thought Lord was village 😅. People to vote for me to clear things up.

    giphy (1).gif

The wolf has been on the prowl and has locked in on their prey.

@jayo44 was caught unaware and dragged back to the wolf den to be Munched

    @jayo44 was Villager (NRV)
