is there anything to be said for achknowleding the fact I’ve no path end game now, so on the off chance I’m good, voting somewhere else to avoid a massive landslide, trying someone else and just leaving me parked for another vote?

like, I’m good, but no one anyone takes me to final tribal now, so drag me along as a goat for now, and actually wolf hunt a bit?

I've a work Christmas party tomorrow afternoon so will probably only be able to get a vote in between 3-9.30. Putting it out there now!

I disagree because if you turn out bad alot can be done with the information left behind. Who defended you, who vote for you, who you vote for...

If you turned out to be good as you say you will then would you not want us to know that for sure and look in a different direction at who else is trying to influence the pile in on you?

On a bus. Will do detailed FFA later. Did NOT vote Lord. Think they are most likely village. Will vote for Trit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,613 ✭✭✭OscarMIlde

I stated clearly on thread earlier I would be busy in work. I posted very detailed thoughts before Munch. My positions are very clear.

I will reiterate thought processes on Trit, Leggy, Yoss and Lord later when I'm home.

I didn't challenge Mac because I don't think he's a wolf, I've been on Lord and Oscar since the start of the game.

I've said this, already I can't say it any differently. Mac can be suspicious of me, that's the whole point of the game.

LI won't be online until about half 1 of we have a speed day tomorrow, just putting it out there now as I'm always questioned about not posting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭lorcand1990

I asked why they aren't on your radar, as in why you think they are village? I presume you didn't just wake up and decide Mac is village?

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 21,134 Mod ✭✭✭✭Leg End Reject

Yes, I think he's a villager. If I don't think he's a wolf what else could I think he was?

I haven't seen anything suspicious about Mac, so no, I didn't just wake up and decide that.

Speed days are when you do your landslides, tbh.

easier for wolves to “miss” votes. Better to try and nail them down tonight, with no excuses, no?

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 21,134 Mod ✭✭✭✭Leg End Reject

What exactly do you think is happening here? Everyone is trying to "nail down wolves".

Speed days put the wolves under pressure too, they have to come out and try to influence the thread before a speedy wagon railroads them. Is your wolf mate worried about a speed day on their own?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,954 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

I think there’s been three posts in the last hour. Is this “wolf hunting”? Feels more like a village being lazy cause they think they’ve got a wolf.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 827 ✭✭✭jayo44

Care to leave us with any helpful information that we can work off when your gone? You're a very very experienced player and should have plenty of reads. If you're good what's your reads on what's left? We can't ask you after half nine.

Lord thoughts: A lot of the suspicion on him derived from moving off me and onto Liz, thus ‘saving’ a potential wolf and condemning a villager to Lynch. This then turned into him and I being linked in terms of alignments e.g. if he was wolf, I was villager and vice versa. As a villager I know that I am not linked with Lord so found this reasoning specious. To me his move isn’t indicative of alignment. Both Liz and I were top of the suspicion pile for first lynch so an unsure villager could easily flip between is. Similarly a wolf would know both our alignments so why worry over which villager goes.

Second night lynch, people now think he is suss for moving onto Trit from Leggy. The fact that he could have caused a lynch of Trit instead of wolf Strawbs apparently is indicative of wolf alignment. Lord revealed suspicions of me, Leggy and Trit on the thread. He could easily have been undecided on all of us till the last minute. I know I’m village so if they wanted to save a wolf (Strawbs was also in danger) a vote for me would have lynched a villager and saved a wolf. Regarding why switch to Trit and not me, when a wagon was building on both of us I spoke out against relying on his voting the night before as proof of alignment.

For me Lord leans neutral to village. One because when a wagon was building on me, they didn’t push it along. Two, because they had the opportunity to save a wolf and lynch a villager by switching vote to me and didn’t do that. Most of the speculaton around him centres on his voting and I think his vote choices are compatible with his thoughts on thread. I haven’t seen wolfy thread behaviour, hasn’t been pushing wagons or agendas.

Leggy thoughts: Very suspicious of Leggy. Top two with Trit. Has been aligned with Strawbs a known wolf from the beginning. The interactions between Leggy, Strawbs and Trit seened stagey and unusual from the start. At first I thought Neo was involved but know I think they were sucking up to him as influential villager. Strawbs was very quick to claim Leggy as villager based on their answer to the ‘Who would you shoot question’. In retrospect that question seemed like a device to get wolfy statements from villagers to harangue them with later. Leggy also has acted very deferentially to Strawbs, and they seemed to be acting in concert. Asking Strawbs to repost their list (which called me wolfy) before lynch was a sneaky way of adding weight to suspicion against me without directly doig it.

Also Leggy’s posting doesn’t ring true for me, particularly after Strawbs reveal as Wolf. She is much more defensive and shady, throwing out suspicions without particulars. The haranguing of me from Trit and Leggy felled two handed. Like Trit took day one and then Leggy took over the next day to take heat off Trit. Also Strawbs has been revealed as a wolf, yet Leggy has not altered her viewpoint of players. I find it really hard to believe that tunnelling supremo Leggy isn’t spinning her wheels looking at every interaction with Strawbs in a new light. Instead she is continuing to name me and Lord as most likely wolves.

Yoss thoughts: I lean generally village on Yoss but I have some slight niggles. I want to get them out. They lied about which way they were voting yesterday. I can see a villager doing that, I don’t think that is suspicious in itself. It’s the aftermath of that. Using their fake vote on Trit to declare Trit innocent and Lord guilty, We don’t know Trit’s alignment. We know there are likely three wolves, Strawbs being a wolf doesn’t mean Trit isn’t either. There is plenty of reasons for placing a vote on Trit. Also it’s unfair to judge people for being wrong in voting after the fact. By default villagers don’t know anyone’s alignment so are likely to mislynch. That is why this game is so hard.

Also when Neo was calling out Trit for faking their FFA on me, Yoss said noted. But never questioned Trit over it. They did however poke at me a bit, calling me a big bad wolf.

This could be bad villagering but just wanted to highlight it. Lean generally neutral with slught wolf niggles.

Trit: Highly suspicious of Trit. Leggy, Trit and Strawbs have seem gang handed. Within the thread I find their posts disingenuous, lots of shade and refusing to accept people’s explanation of me. Along with Leggy and Strawbs voted for me twice. They blatantly misrepresented my posting on thread. Neo and Necro both called them out on it but they doubled down. This for me is the most blatant suspicious thing about them. Villagers don’t know any one’s alignment so need to be as honest as possible. It doesn’t benefit the village in any way to overstate how suspicious a potential villager is. It does however benefit a wolf to get a wago going. Today they saw what way the wind was blowing and are all in on Lord, without hesitation. Looks very wolfy to me.

Everyone else I am neutral/village on apart from Jayo and Gree who I believe wholeheartedly as lock vllagers.

I voted Trit earlier after I said I was going to vote for them

Well the obvious answer to that is if a villager is lynched we are down a villager and have missed an oppurtunity to take down a wolf, with all the information that gives us. Tomorrow is a speed day, so the max amount of info the better.

@OscarMIlde just on your ffa of lord..... He was never on you the first day? He said his vote was on leggy bit could switch to liz and it was back and forth.… 🤔🤔🤔 unless I missed something.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,613 ✭✭✭OscarMIlde

I second this. You are top of the lynch pile. If you are a villager this is your time to have a bit of influence even if you are lynched.

Leggy also has acted very deferentially to Strawbs, and they seemed to be acting in concert.

Seriously? I was one of several who asked for her lists, and I gave a reason for her being quiet.

Are you suggesting that a wolf team composed of Strawbs, Trit and I went into the thread with the gormless intention of backslapping each other and acting in unison? That not one of us might have considered that was risky or that it would allow all 3 to be easily found?

I don't know on first day. I know they questioned me though; after the lynch when I was commenting on the munch they said they didn't like that behaviour. They reiterated that the next day. They said it to me directly the first time, so I felt it was villager probing/voicing concerns rather than wolf railroading.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭lorcand1990

Can you show me where lord posted suspicions of Trit before d2 lynch? I can't find it. I only see him saying he is suspicious of leggy and then after that he says you, but ends up voting trit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,613 ✭✭✭OscarMIlde

Yes I am suggesting that. I think Strawbs and Trit were possibly in danger and it was a calculated gamble to stay on me as likeliest villager to get voted off in their place. I also think being so wolfy that is appears not wolfy can be a valid strategy, particularly if a wolf team want to get numbers down sufficiently to influence things.

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 21,134 Mod ✭✭✭✭Leg End Reject

SO now you're suggesting that all 3 of us looked too wolfy to be wolfy from the off?

Can you quote some posts from all 3 of us to back that up, and posts where others raised the same suspicion?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭lorcand1990

Oscar, this is Lord's post before the lynch last night

    @OscarMIlde

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,613 ✭✭✭OscarMIlde

To me that posts indicates that they are now on their radar. They said on the thread they didn't think their Leggy vote would do anything, and Necro was pushing them to switch votes, albeit to me. I know you don't know my alignment but I do, and as a villager on the verge of being lynched with encouragment from other players would have been a great way to save a wolf (Strawbs) and get rid of a villager with great plausible deniability. I think the were likely swayed by the fact I didn't join a wagon on tem and was warning people not to make snap judgements on Lords alignment if I was shown to be village.

Necro was trying to push votes onto Lord, he corrected me earlier when I thought it was Strawbs.

So in the space of 30 mins, they've gone from not having trit or strawbs on their radar, and suspicious of you, to being able to distinguish trit as the most wolfy over you and strawbs

Sorry but I can't see it
